celtic's with a clutch one, wild game

These Celtics don’t know what Clutch is. They won a single game within 6 points this postseason and lost 4 that close.

The last series shouldn’t have gone to 7 games and this one they were lucky to make it to game 7.

go NUGGETS.

alright boys, nuggets - heat

everyone in this thread who bashed the play in tournament can officially get fucked. love to see an 8th seed get a chance for a championship. the play in is awesome

nuggets are looking tough to beat.... jokic is the rightful MVP, and having murray as ur second scoring option is scary as fuck. not to mention their play off defense is pretty solid, and their bench goes deep. The heat are not a high scoring team so this is going to be very interesting to watch from an offensive perspective. I do have some optimism that the heat are going to be able to lock up murray and the rest of the nuggets scorers, but im very curious to see how they guard jokic. i dont see bam shutting him down so that match up will be fun to watch.

I think the heat are really going to have to shoot the 3 well if they have any chance of making this a close series. the heat role players are really gonna have to step up imo. i dont think jimmy is gonna be scoring at an elite level in this series, but dont quote me on that.

my prediction is nuggets in 6, i do think people are down playing the heats ability to stay in this series though. but the nuggets just seem much more fluid, as well as better rested after sweeping the lakers. lets see what happens

Sad to see Marcus Smart traded but atleast I won’t have to scream at my TV every time he takes a corner three and bricks it

Porzingis plays super well these days. It's an upgrade for sure. Plus they got picks!

Kings freed up some space... Definitely could use that to resign Harrison Barnes if they decide to and add a solid big-man to take some pressure off Sabonis. Would make the kings even harder to defend, and also allow them to rebound better...

Would love them to sign Kyle Kuzma... Maybe even add a Brook Lopez or something... Can't rely on Sabonis for 100% of big-man minutes and need someone else who could effectively run Brown's offense.

Also, Sacramento installed an even brighter beam for next year... Like, it's way more powerful and even brighter. They had to get a bunch of high level approvals with the FAA and the DOD for it lol.

At this rate, this is going to be earth after a kings victory in a few years...

glad the Blazers finally traded Dame. Dude was fun to watch but obviously was not going to win a championship for us. Seems like he really tried to market the "I love Oregon and Oregon loves me thing" and I'm not sure how many people around here really bought it. Seems like maybe more of a business thing for a guy that was starting a car dealership. Dude never even went to the Oregon coast and he's more of a homer for Ogden and Oakland than for PDX. Learned about new injuries I hadn't even heard about because of him so was really questioning how much we'd actually see him play long term. I remember when Brandon Roy was going to be the next big thing. Also glad to be moving on from Nurk for the same reasons.

Looking forward to seeing what we can do with the new squad

I think dame is clearly past his peak playing days too. Dudes 33 and coming off some rough injuries. Really not sure during all these trade discussions why it seemed like teams were willing to blow up their young, promising rosters to get him

Tbf dame is still the 2nd best PG behind murray

He's a good PG but IMO that's not what it takes to win a championship. Dame can't change the fact that he is only 6'2" . He'd been working on moving his game further out and even if you are the best ever at hitting half court shots it's still not the highest percentage shot

I mean dame had his highest scoring game of his career last season, I think his 3s can still obliterate any team, and he doesn't have to be tall he now has giannis for that, as long as he hits his threes which he did at a historic level last season he's going to be a massive improvement for the bucks

that sounds great for Dame but the Blazers didn't even make the playoffs the past 2 seasons.

IMO the best point guard the Blazers ever had was Terry Porter. Dame Lillard's playoff win-loss record is 22-39 and his best finish was the western conference finals. Terry Porter took the Blazers to 2 NBA finals and has a playoff win-loss record of 55-69. Some of Terry Porter's playoff losses were literally to Michael Jordan and the Bulls and the Blazers were very competitive with those teams
