Sup homies, thought I'd make a thread where we can debate what's goin down in the finals. I think it's safe to say the Miami Heat are the favorites, but I'm rooting for the Spurs.

Lebron is a beast and by far the most entertaining player, but the Spurs are deeper more consistent and built for coming from behind, so I pick them in 7. Post your game picks and how many games you think it'll take. Let tip-off begin...

 
If wade and bosh show up to play, the heat will be unbeatable. we'll see what happens
 
Leonard, Splitter and Green aren't quite household names behing Parker Duncan and Gino, but they are bigger role players than the Heat have to offer.
 
heat are a bunch of pussy bitches that cry every time they miss and go crazy every time they make a good shot. Immature fucks with zero class. That being said they are obviously going to win, this shit isn't even fair anymore. I would love to see the spurs make the big 3 cry though.

lebron doesnt go crazy when he scores. bosh is pissing me off though. he always puts his hand in the air when he scores an easy one, but he is shooting and missing wide open 3s with a minute left.
 
what a roll on tony parkers shot...

lebron not being assertive enough. he got to the line 4 times. needs to draw more fouls inside.

bosh can hit that shot, but is falling in love with that shot now, unfortunately.

spurs = good team, but I still think heat will win series, if wade and bosh keep it up and lebron scores a bit more.
 
heat are gonna pull away in the third. lebron will start scoring and with everyone else playing well on the heat, i can see them taking control

If Spurs win tonight they got the series.

Anybody notice how D Wade makes the dramatic shots when he falls down, but misses the wide open easy ones? not quite the superstar this playoff
 
I hate the Heat with a passion more than any other sports team but its not out of jealousy. I cannot stand the fans who stand by the Heat when they win, yet cant accept when a team outplays them. They believe that a starting line up is all it takes to beat a solid deep team like the Pacers, Spurs, etc, yet find every excuse in the world when they lose. Lose with class. Accept teams are better. Please. And LBJ, YOU DO NOT NEED TO FLOP WHEN YOU ARE THAT DOMINANT. PLEASE. DJ Augustin is half your size and he "knocks" you over? SHEESH
 
Heat are playing like a team that could win this series, day and night from game 3. bosh and wade are stepping up hard
 
the spurs really let that one go tonight. i was really hopin they could pull it off. i have a feeling they will lose by 12 or so in game 7 after that shit show of a fourth quarter tonight.
 
spurs are taking game 7 for sure the heat got lucky as hell tonight, and fuck ray ray for leaving the celtics if he didnt hit that three at the end of regulation it would be over
 
They didnt get lucky, the Spurs stopped playing their game.

That coupled with the fact that Manu Ginobli has forgotten how to play basketball for every game but game 4 is making things tough.

There were some rough calls, but some made free throws and better plays down the stretch negate that.

The Spurs don't even know what happened to them, they literally had the championship in their finger tips and then blew it. Albeit the Heat played so clutch, for LBJ and RA to hit those two 3's, fucking incredible.

Spurs are going to be so out of it emotionally and the Heat are going to be on some next level shit come game 7. Heat in 7 esp cuz it's at home.

And fuck the Celtics.

im not even a celtics fan i just think ray is a bitch for going to the heat, and you can talk all the shit you want but put your money where your mouth is ill bet you $50 we can each send it to an independent party before the game so no bullshit happens

He was shooting 60% for the playoffs at the line, and you are surprised he splits in the finals like that? Okay and now Ray Allen, the greatest 3 point shooter of all time makes a pretty much wide open 3 and that is lucky? Jesus then Parkers step back 3 pointer to tie the game must of been lucky to huh?

No Parker's shot at the end of game 1 which somehow went in after like staling on the hoop when the shot clock was about to expire from a broken play was lucky. The only lucky thing were the 2 offensive rebounds that lead to the two 3's being made, as those could of bounced anywhere.
 
and all because of one 3, which followed an airball, everyone forgets how awful Lebron was

wanna make it 100? someone sounds scared, and allens three was so off balance and contested that i guarantee he makes that shot 1 out of 10 times or less, when you say his three was wide open you just discredit yourself and why are you talking about parker's three it has nothing to do with the argument?
 
and allen is statistically the greatest three point shooter of all time, this was like the first clutch three hes ever made please dont say hes the best three point shooter of all time just because that cunt bill simmons kept repeating it over and over, with the game on the line in the playoffs i can list 5 people id rather have shooting a three over him, one of them being steve kerr a 6 foot white dude
 
Haha I can't believe this... You are seriously arguing right now that the greatest 3 point shooter of all time "statistically" made a corner 3 and he is lucky for making that shot?? Jesus man could you be anymore disillusioned? If that was like fucking Chris Anderson making that jump shot, or fucking even Chris Bosh I would be like okay he prob would never be able to do that again. But fucking Ray Allen, the person who holds the record for most 3 pointers made was lucky for making another. And he wasn't off balanced, he jumped straight up and had a great look, it was only when he landed did he lose his balance.

And seriously now you're arguing hypothetically of who would be better to take that shot??? Is this how you argue? "Well the spurs lost tonight but if they had the 92 dream team I am sure it would of been a different result".

And I don't understand if your calling Ray's jumper lucky, how is Parker's 3 not lucky? I would say that 3 was a lot higher difficult than Ray's, and please for the love of god your not going to try and argue Parker is a better 3 point shooter than Ray. I mean I don't even know what you said about it but it sounded like some useless drivel.

I began by trying to explain how raw statistics dictates that Ray Allen would make that shot around 40.13% of the time, but it seems statistics mean nothing to you so you argued hypothetically other players who you would rather take that shot lolwut? Seeing as how you're autistic I then tried to explain well if luck dictated the outcome of this game, wouldn't Parker's 'lucky' 3 (as it was much harder than Ray's and Ray is a better 3 point shooter) cancel out the luck from the Heat? But that went over your head because you didn't understand how it was part of the argument.

Oh and the best part is when I tried to argue how when you claimed "the spurs will win game 7" but cited the emotional defeat and how distraught they will be after literally witnessing the championship fall through their fingers and thus give Miami a huge advantage esp at home. You responded with "put $50 on them then pussy," again without even trying to argue anything.
