Every single fan that got involved deserved way worse than what they got.

Somebody has to stand for the players. they are doing their job. Just because some asshole decides it's his fucking business to get invloved doesn't make it right. They aren't playing the game.

I wouldn't have been happier if those idiots got fucking beaten sensless. I'd like each one of them to be put in a room alone with Ron Artest. Then we'll see how cocky those bastards are.

the pacers players had everyright to jump the fans. they threw shit at them. i dont know anybody who wouldnt have gone after them

It was Clemson and South Carolina. They didn't call the game. It just took a minute to get everything back in order.

they said on sportsnet news that they called the game, it had like 5 min left.

Maybe it was different game because I watched the Clemson-USC game and it definitely ended in normal fashion.

I think the whole thing was the NHL's fault. If the red wings were still playing, then all the drunk hockey fans wouldn't have to go to the Palace to get drunk and yell at professional. Also, mad props to the guy that got laid out by O'Neal, that shit was fuckin crazy. Artest is a little bitch and deserved the beer cup to the chest, who the fuck lays out on the officials table to other than little bitchs.

But seriously, it was a disgrace and completely uncalled for.(fuck the pacers)

 
I dont think that it was the fans fault really. They were assholes but the players are professionals and should know how to deal with that. I think that artest is just an asshole.

holy shit some of you are done. artest has to take most of the blame here. it was definitely way out of line and inexcusable for that fan to throw beer at him, but that does not give him the right to charge the stands. players deal with dumb shit from fans all of the time, but most are mature enough to handle it. it's not like he was threatened or anything, he's just a fucking punk. glad he's suspended for the rest of the season, he can spend more time on his r and b career. the guy is a plague to the game.

secondly, ben wallace was not that out of line. the game was over, everyone knew it. jackson quit gaurding him on the play and let him dunk it because he knew it was meaningless. artest was trying to start shit, it was a pointless hard foul. plus ben's older brother just died a week ago, i'm sure his emotions were running a little high. he got five games out, that's fair.

and eastcoast, i fucking gaurantee you that all of those fans involved make a million plus a year. oakland county (where the palace is located) is one of the wealthiest in the nation. these weren't poor inner city thugs. you know how expensive seats that close are?

basically everyone was way out of line, but you're placing way too much blame on the fans.
