Natural spinning direction - jon, tanner, dumont

Ehh... jon's a perfectionist. The tricks he does, he makes his own. His flat/rodeo 5 double japany things are absurd. He makes the tricks he does absolutely perfect, so i'll cut him some slack for a shoddy switch right 5 off a cliff drop style jump.

And yes, all of them spin left naturally.
 
With all do respect, that sw 5 was more impressive than anything I've ever seen you do in any of your edits. You aren't qualified to pass judgement on skiers in different leagues than you, take the hate elsewhere.
 
and no he isn't a god for being able to double flip. but he's earned respect for changing freeskiing more than anyone else in the best few years.
 
they all 3 spin naturally to the left but can spin right better than alot of skiers. i watched tanner right side cork 630 a hip first hit a few years back
 
it was just about their natural direction, it was pretty clear for me that tanner can spin higher cork swtich unnattys, then i can regular natural (without cork).
 
you're right in some things, jons switch 5 wasn't that impressing. His run was kind of disappointing with that beeing his only rightside spin. Though, saying Jon is bad at spinning rightside is stupid. He did sw rightside 9s like 4 years ago, watch pbp X or Not another ski movie. He also said in his bideoblog his wasn't feeling his skiing that day, and still ending up third is pretty awesome.

I don't really now bot Simon, he can for sure spin unnatural pretty well, I know he was planning a rightside 9 and 7 hits in his X games run , but had to much amplitude in the begining to see it through. His rightside 5s are really nice though.

but so according to you (not that this would happen cuz hes crazy) if tanner falls in the pipe and had a shity run, no one on NS except who ever beat him is allowd to say he wasnt in the game and had a shity run
 
meh i think his switch 5 on that xgames jumps was flawless, i definately liked it better than everyone else's nines.

if so, SHUT THE FUCK UP asian_allen, you are spewing faeces. that sw right 5 was indeed flawless and stylie as fuck. sure, he may not but as technically good spinning unnatural as charles or andreas, but he's still uber stylie. as for the insinuation that pros/jon are only sponsored because of their marketability....

doesn't even dignify a response.
 
one thing i know for sure is all of them look way more comfortable spinning to the left and it should not be the case for pros of this caliber. Maybe im exagerating but dumont should stop spinning left for a bit cause even though he can do switch right sevfens, they look like crap compared to his left spins. And seems like iatvideo shoots evne though they can spin both ways, they only spin to the left, why is that, are unnatural tricks only for comps, cause except for a few riders it seems to be the case, which is stupid.

Why you gotta do heem like that? Everybody criticizes what pro's do and don't do, that doesn't mean you should get on his riding...that's just mean, and baseless, no offense. Not many people on this site are ever gonna be as good as Jon is...don't compare the average NSer to a super pro. Just because somebody can't ski as well as a pro doesn't mean that they can't criticize a pro's game.

By the way asian i saw your promo and i was diggin the rollerblade grinds, even though I wouldn't consider doing them because i couldn't make them look nearly as good and they are just not my style.
 
I dont know why you bothered posting in this thread either to be honest. 1080_xtreme was just asking whis direction these skiers spin naturally.

No one even mentioned Jons' X-games run... why you would hate on one trick in his run is completely irrelevant to this thread, thats why I called you out.

I wouldnt say that Tanner spins right side more often, but then again I dont ski with tanner or Jon so really my opinion is soley based off video segments and video blogs.

COMPLETELY agree on Dumont with you. I saw him do a sw right side 7 once.
 
Didnt mean to come off as an ass, sorry. I dont like going after peoples riding since it's a douche bag thing to do. I only did it because Allen said a smooth 5 was lame, and I guess I didnt realize he meant relative to what other riders were doing on the same course.

Now that I put some thought into it I take back what I said about your riding Allen, you are a great skier.
 
once i was gunna do a switch cork 14.....but i cased the jump.......

but i do think simon could have won if he had kept that right side 9 in his run......

someones skill doesnt dictate there ability to critisize other's weakness's. Just because your good doesnt mean you have good insight on what looks good and bad. Take all's opinions. And on behalf of alien allens skiing, atleast hes trying to do some things that havnt been seen several times before, like perhaps a switch right 5. Not trying to start an arguement either just stateing what i think.
