Natural Features

Are features in natural parks okay to slide on? whenever i approach them i sketch out because i see skiers eat it on them all the time. Are these log rails easy to slide on with skis? Or should i avoid them?

avoid them during warmer days when the wood is softer. also avoid if you have recently tuned edges

Pretend like its a corrugated tube, you don't want to catch your edges. Also, wax may help if its a little warmer and water might help if its freezing.

theyre fine if you dont have new edges and are confident in your control on different types and builds of rails

The only natural feature I've ever hit was at trollhaugen. The log they have is smooth as shit and probably one of the most fun things I've ever hit. You just have to be a little careful of your edges, but once you get the feeling its not too bad.
