i think it depends on the rail. like if the rail launches you pretty good and you can rotate the 270 good its looks cool, but they end up super penciled out alot of the time.
whats this frontside/backside thing? were skiers not snowboarders. and this thread also depends on what ur natural slide and spin is. i have a friend who slides left foot first but spins left so it makes it real easy for him. i slide right foot forward and naturally spin left but i spin right off rails cuz its not blind
WELL WHAT THE FUCK! Alright, I understand. It's called a backside because you are turning your head towards your backside to spin off while frontside... same deal.
I dont really think ones much harder than the other just because u can see in front of u or not. Its a split second trick usually and neither one is more technical than the other. Its mainly just preferance id say.
I used to only do 270s off natural (up hill as I grind right foot forward nat.) but after learning them unnatural they became soo much easier and look way better. I hardly ever do 270s natural anymore. I only go natural if I'm doing a 450.
