thats sick...loon is also stepping it up (7 new rails, including an s..and i whole nother park on anther trail). as is wv...the trap box is SICK. im so pumped for this season

Sweet way to get in the game Cranmore, it's about goddamn time, now you can pay Gunny another 10 grand next season to re-design your park becuse it's already obsolete. Gunny is a great park designer, but way overated. There is litarally a Gunny at every major ski area in the world but they just don't talk up there shit like he does.

 
^ cranmores park wasnt that bad this year, jumps were mediocre, but their rails were good.

i just visisted the rail, the roller is basically flat, so don;t be so happy...

they DID get a pretty dope rainbow box, but WV's gettin the dopest rails yo

They have a lot of the rails for cranmore in the waterville parking lots, they have some sick ones...i cant remember a lot of specifics but theres a rollercoaster rail, a rainbow box i think, and some other crazy stuff...

 
yea, i was just up there today...they have some weird shit

like a box with two like 3 inch boxes on the side, like 3 inches below the box...hqard to explain

and two c boxes, the house box(like they had at world), a down flat down, double barrel flat down

uuum....

i think that's all i saw...but the only rails going to cranmore are the roller and rainbow box, loon gets a c box, down flat down box, and one of those weird house box things

WV gets the rest, hooray...i'm gonna check it out in a week or so to see if they make anything else

Gunny...that crazy master did wanders for northstar. Put them on the map for sure. They passed up Squaw in park and Squaw used to be the quality park shit in Tahoe.

it's nice to see cranmore starting to draw more of a crowd and really make an effort to attract skiers but on a powder day if I lived over there I'd be at Wildcat. Conway NH is where I basically live in the summer because my parents have a summer place over there but I live in VT during the winter so i don't get much of a chance to ski over there too much but anyways I'm really happy but Cranmore doing this

haha BS, yeah their rails were good and shit but they had like 3 real jumps all season, not 10, and the 60, not even close to 60. i hope its better for this season and maybe ill buy a pass for night skiing. attitash had way better jumps.

but attitashs rails suck, they build their own. they made two 8' boxes out of an old lift tower. they weighed 500lbs each.

i dont know how many of you have been to see the new rails. i helped put in the order for htem last year and when i saw a fre i was a little dissapointed. im gonna guess on the length of the rails so dont hold me to this....

we have the roller coasster thats like 35 feet but its soooo mellow and low, it might be cool for switch ups and shit..

a flat down flat thats also way to fucking mellow thats like 30 feet long.

a 30 foot single barrel (thank god we finanly got somthing other then huge flat ones)

a c box/ril thing like waterville had. thats like 25 feet.

a dog house box. or whatever you want to call it. thats like 25 feet.

then the last new one i know of is the 35 foot rainbow box. thats pretty mellow but it should be cool.

park updates:

no pipe that i know of this year. we had no snow for it last year, a shitty pipe dragon tha died and it blew so i think it was a waste of snow and they wont have it again.

they cut zip way bigger and the park is going there, its right next to where it was before.

the trails not as big but its so much smoother then south slope.

i know in the past people have said its gonna be so great, but i dont think many people want the park there so we dont get 100% support and stuff we need. we do get alot more snow (our park had rails and a jjump before they blew snow for hte race course last year). but still this is a small mountain with a small budget and we cant gt snough snow for huge jumps.

this year i think there might be some decent jumps but we have alot of rails and shit now, so its more of a jib park.

hopefully less little kids will be in there because the mini park will be where it was before and the bigger park is moved.

so come check it out dont expect a world class park and you might think its decent. peace kiddys.......pray for snow

 
i go to cranmore every weekend, i live about 5 minutes from there, the park is sick, but we havent gotten any snow for about a month, so all the jumps are smaller now
