so fun yesterday! the jump was prime, now they moved the dog house rail to the top and put it on an angle for stalls or pop on slides. there is now a donkey rail and a down rail that are close together at the bottom and you can chose flat rail or donkey into down rail. the butter box was moved to the mini park now with a larger drop off. Both jumps felt significantly bigger in height and length.

Nashoba Valley Snow Making killed it yesterday and last night blowing snow all over the park. Around two feet of snow (real and artificial) fell on the park yesterday. The park opened late this morning, at 10am with tons of new features for jibbing. Pictures and video to come, or see for yourself!

In the meantime, here's an edit of Joey Ciprari and Bobby Sullivan in the Sundance Terrain Park from February 8, 2012...enjoy!

Park Update:

Numerous builds went down this past week and weekend, and there are many more to come. So far, the slant box at the top (to the left of the flat down boxes) has been replaced with a slanted doghouse rail, which can be hit straight on, or as a jib from the side. The flat box that used to be the slant box at the top is now a flat box in the mini park towards the bottom, with a bigger drop off than earlier this season. After the second jump, there is a flat bar, a down flat rail, a down rail, and a pole jib to wallride. And last but not least, where the doghouse rail used to be (at the bottom next to the lift) there is now a wooden rainbow box.

Get yo shred on.

Props to everyone who came out for the Nashoba Valley Freeride Series Big Air competition yesterday! Edits will be posted soon, and photos are on the Nashoba Valley Terrain Parks Facebook page.

the no inverts rule is just because of their insurance policy; it's expensive to allow inverts. the park crew is working on allowing them next year or in the near future, but it's not up to them.

you're lucky the owner of wachusett's kids stopped racing and started doing shitty inverts, because before that they didnt allow inverts either. bitter nigchusett kids taking out their shitty park frustration in the shobes thread......

Well wachusett still allows inverts...i would be very bored at shobe if theres not inverts...the rails look funthough

I saw a lot of Nashoba skiers at the Carinthia open yesterday on the heavy metal lift. Will there be a last chance railjam this year?

WTF?! 200 hundred. There can't be 200 because that is more people than Nashoba gets in the park on most weekends. This is gonna be so crazy! Fuck!
