Nashoba Valley Overhaul

Hey everyone,

Earlier this summer we announced a overhaul of our parks... completely out with the old and in with the new (except for a select few classics). In addition we will be adding a new trail with beginner oriented features that will be lift serviced and directly next to the sundance chair. 30+ features will be rotated through the parks with 3-4 night ops a week to fully rotate the parks each week, giving all of you the chance to be hitting fresh setups all the time. Here are some pics of the first week of building... more photo updates will continue! Thanks all... see you in Nov.

Last year i went to Nashoba one night to check the park, you guys definitely stepped it up...i think. I cant really remember because i got a pretty severe concussion that night, haha.

haha unfortunately i remember pretty much nothing from that night. its pretty bad because i drove 45 minutes home after that...

Thankyou nashoba valley for being a ski area near my house with a legit park!! Pics look great, keep us updated. So stoked to come to nashoba this year!!

i do have to say though, are you putting hdpe or whatever into the slots on the side in between the rails and main box? if not, nashoba will be prime for broken legs i hate to say, think about all the gapers who try and ride a box and then have one leg fall off first, wouldnt that turn into a broken leg super easily?

I always love opinions and I welcome them, although just because its painted doesn't mean its finished... well aware of the risks and have already addressed them. Don't worry, broken legs will not be an issue. Thank you for your concern.

It was not my intention to come off negative in my last post, but today I had all four wisdom teeth taken out... not nearly as far along as I would like to be with fabrication... and am lacking the parts I ordered for this particular feature until September to fix the problem. I merely painted it to protect the metal because I need to move it outside to make room for the next feature. So I apologize for any roundness! I am a park manager and never a fan of any injuries to any of my friends and guests riding in my parks.

Well keep sending those opinions! Seriously. It's going to be the best way we can make this season epic for southern New England and give everyone around the Boston area who has been waiting years for this to realize their dreams and desires.

I haven't been to nashoba ever, because I have a ski house up north. But now that I am in boarding school, I will def be hitting up you park this winter. I don't know what features you have, but a barrel tap would be sick. And maybe a cannon box? Just give us a solid jump line and some nice jibs and hopefully mother nature will give us the snow. I'm stoked to hear that someone is really stepping up their park near my house.

It's sick that you are actually dedicated to being park manager. It seems as though a lot of small mountains that have park managers just don't care about anything. You should come up north a bit and work at Pat's Peak :D

Hahaha that's funny, you remind me of some people I met up with in Cutter's Camp earlier this year... Still waiting for my phone call regarding certain special events this season ;-)

Was that some park building camp thing? I remember Pat's park crew going to it haha. They just purchased a Park Bully too. Only good in the right hands though.

never been to nashoba but i only live like 30 minutes away. it would be so sick to have a good park there, and much appreciated. wawa sketched me out last year, i think you guys are stepping it up at the perfect time. seeing this happen would get so many people stoked

thats sick i got a pass to pats this year too =)
nashoba is looking good for this year... good luck on building stuff!!

Well I am pleased to announce that "The Massacre" is coming to Nashoba Valley November 6th. This will be one of the largest preseason rail jams anywhere, featuring an unprecedented setup along with an all day tent sale and movie premiere. More details will follow, but for now just mark your calender.

We have been quite busy with the overhaul and haven't posted anything in ages... my bad. Here are some images of whats going on in our shop. The staircase is being built in two pieces for maneuverability, there is 16 stairs total. More stuff on the way!
