Nashoba Valley 2012/2013

^The jumps are actually so fresh, you guys freaking kill it! best jump line IMO anywhere on the EC at the moment. Better than at Loon and Sunday River and Waterville.

Thank you! That step up is a blast, please keep it in.

Was there yesterday with a few friends, holy shit, that jump line is soooo good. Landed an underflip on the last jump and one of the ski patrollers threatened to pull my pass saying there was a sign at the top that said "no inverts"...checked gopro footage when I got home and there was no sign. Not to mention like five other people were doing rodeos and corks. Some patrollers...

the ski patrol said we couldnt cork or backflip, but flatspins were okay, then my friend did a slightly off-axis 3, and he got a warning, but other kids were blatantly going upside down right in front of them and they didn't care, I don't know if they make exceptions for certain people or something, but it was weird.

It seems some of teh more talented locals are allowed to do inverts but that seems to be cleared w/ski patrol from the rumors i've heard. And by talented I mean sponsored or park staff affiliated...

But you're better off asking someone on park staff or waiting till they post back up here

Hey All,

You are more than welcome to flat spin, cork, tweak, or whatever your fancy is. You can't be inverted. Upside down. Feet over head.

flip-flopped. You get the idea. It is our policy for now, and is also the policy of the large majority of ski resorts in the US. We have been exploring all aspects and possibilities to accommodate you guys and gals. For now I really hope you guys have enjoyed our parks this year and continue to do so. The park will be closed all day tomorrow (Wednesday Jan 23) for a complete overhaul of our jump line, and jib features. Your mind will be blown.

Thanks for all of your feed back. Keep it coming.

yo keith can you drop in a bunch of the down rails and have a killer rail garden? like put most of the jibs in? and keep the step up its sexy

is there anyone that can get me/knows how to get free lift tickets for nashoba? i had a bunch of vouchers that i used last year because it's only a half hour from school. but i can't really afford to buy lift tickets consistently.

Jumps got bigger, they kept the dfd and the flat down looks like they're adding the c box and moving some of the other rails around

Hey all another update:

We were closed for about two days this week due to the fact that the park was buried in snow after the snowmakers ran on our trail for 36 hours strait. The jumps are bigger, the sewer drain is in and throughout the next few days we will be introducing more rail options into the park, not to mention adding the giant wall ride pictured in the sketch-up model onto our second jump. The jumps are now 35' step down, 50' table, 40' step up with a sky scraping takeoff. Of course we will always have the two beginner jumps at 15' and 10'. Hope to see you soon!

What's the spacing like in between? I'm just having trouble picturing how you gather enough speed for the 50 footer.

stomp the first one and send it straight into the 50' and straight from that into the stepup

I wouldn't build it if it wasn't possible. It's fun, and tall... 1st jump needs some minor adjustments but its warm out so that will need to wait until tomorrow. Come ride spring condish for two days!
