Narrowest waist on a pair of Armadas

What are some of the narrowest waists Armada has produced?

I'm trying to find a used pair of Armadas (full twin) with a waist slimmer than 84mm. I did some digging and it seems like they haven't made any in nearly 10 years. I bought a pair of '08 T-Halls this year and I love them, but I want to try something a little more narrow.

Casabon's OG pro model was the Armada Alpha, a ski that was 81mm... they produced it up until 2014. Is that the narrowest ski they've produced or what?

Answers, people.. answers

I don’t think the alpha was Casabons pro model, but the first bdog was just a rebranded alpha x (or halo?) if I remember properly.

Alpha 1 and 2s were 81 underfoot and had the most insane taper for a park ski, you could recognize them by shape alone lol

Did you have a pair, or do you know anyone who has/had a pair?

Kinda wild that most brands don’t even make something in the 80s range underfoot anymore when just ten years ago it seemed like that was the majority of park skis being sold

I had a couple of pairs of those back in the day, fun skis. Kinda weird to turn on but mad fun, super low swingweight, pretty stable tail, pretty buttery nose.

I knew a lot of people on both, they were popular. The alpha 1 was a stiff comp ski and the 2s/halo were softer, they seemed fun

Know anyone I could buy a pair off of?

No, sorry. Not easy to find park skis from that long ago. Maybe try to find some Atomic Punx 7s, they're 81 underfoot and were made until last season.

Volkl still makes a revolt 81 also

Why tho? What's the point? How many different skis have you tried?

Just find skis that are quick edge to edge and don't worry about the width.

I've never skied anything thinner than 86mm and I want to try something new. I prefer Armada, hence the thread. Another reply with no info, fantastic.

You new-schooler people are the worst, been here for a week or two and I already see how this website is. Trash people on here.

Another reply that doesn't answer the question. No need to quote me in your post only to dodge the question.

What is it you like about narrow skis? If you want super narrow buy a 70mm carving ski or as mentioned above a proper mogul ski.

Have you looked at the Black Crows Mirus Cor?

I've got a pair of the first run of Alpha 2's- I still ride them occasionally. they've held up great over the past 13 years since i initially bought them.

They're great, stiff enough underfoot but decent softness in the tips and tails.

something like 80, 81 underfoot. They carve great, can handle crud, very bouncy and responsive.

I want a pair so bad, they have one of the most unique shapes I've ever seen. I've you'd ever be okay with selling them, let me know!

Sorry that I said that the people on here are trash, but I've ran into mostly trolls and time-wasters on here. Looking back at non_state-actor's comment, the guy definitely didn't deserve any disrepect. It's just very irritating that people come on here questioning why I want a slimmer ski, I shouldn't have to explain myself to anyone. I'm on a mission here- so unless you have answers, please don't reply to the thread.
