Narrowest Park Ski?

Are there any park skis out there around 80 underfoot anymore? Seems like Punx are probabaly the closest. I wish Dynastar would bring back the 78 underfoot trouble maker.

The Show from head is identical to the original jon olson pro and is 79 underfoot. Honestly doesn't seem too bad, full wood core, and only $350 haha

I feel like Head has a ~80mm underfoot (frame wall?), Moment Vice at 83mm (discontinued last season). IK its closer to 90 but ARV 86 is a good embodiment of a stellar cambered thin ski.

Um I mean there are kid skis like Soul Rider 84s and ARV 84s and stuff. Idk how an adult could rock 80s or why they would chose to these days. Interesting.

You know that adult race skis can be less than 70 right?

It's like you guys forgot that park skis used to be "skinny", like 85mm and below.

Yeah, all skis used to be skinny like,

Wtf? Apparently the forum doesn't care for the " less than" symbol. What I was trying to say was all skis used to be sub 80mm and then shapes and rocker evolved and now we have wider skis except for race skis basically.

There’s still some High Society Classics (or the newer version, the Bezerks) floating around the internet. They’re 80 underfoot & are full camber with a dreamy softer flex. Super fun skis if you like a skinny park stick

Nah, didn't forget. I had Line Invaders that I remember feeling wider than I was use to when they came out. I just don't understand going thinner than like an 83 or 84ish ski unless you were really small but even then, I personally wouldn't go smaller.

Had a pair of Trouble Makers many, many years ago and they were a fun ski. Dynastar makes a twin called the Slicer now and its 98mm underfoot now. lol

I have a set of Head Framewalls that are 84mm underfoot that I use for hard snow/moguls etc and they rip! Very stable at speed and damp feeling. The Head Caddy would be a slightly softer version of it again in 84mm underfoot. Both would be stiffer than the Trouble Makers and much more stable. Most narrow skis would be stiffer than the Trouble Makers as they are biased towards harder snow.

Nordica Soul Rider 87 and Armada ARV86 would have similar flex patterns to the old Trouble Maker but with tip/tail rocker and a more versatile width. Both would be good Trouble Maker replacements/upgrades.

^ The Slicer has a perfect flex pattern, just wider than what I want for a park ski haha. Also did find the High Society Classic for sale, looking into those.

And for those wondering why anyone would want a narrow ski these days, it's because narrow skis rip. And it's been a while since I've whipped around some skinny sticks on rails. I had Line 1260's back in the day, the tip and tail were narrower than most waist widths these days.
