Narrow Skins

Debating whether to CAST touring "second ski kit" my ARGs this winter. They really are ideal for pow, and am thinking touring is the ticket.

That said, I have a set of skins that are for my JJ ULs, 116 underfoot and the same length. Im wondering if any of ya'll have experienced using a narrower skin on a fatter ski and what thats been like.

Touring with an ARG will only be okay in deep fresh powpow, as soon as you will need to sidehill you will have a difficult time. Narrow skins are also not really a problem as long as you do need to put your edge in.

Thanks Ghini. Its a great ski that needs the fresh pow pow only. It would be a backup touring ski ski
