Napter...Good or bad?

I am thinking about doing that Napster thing that is 15$ a month for all the music you want. I was wondering if anyone has done it and has an opinion about it. Im not sure if i want to do it so I was wondering if there are any pros or cons. I dont want to pay 99cents a song or download it illegally, because most of the time it doesnt work for me and the downloads are messed up. So if anyone has an opinion I would like to hear it even if you dont have it.

Thanks

I think you have answered your own question. Definetly sounds like a good deal if you have a problem finding "free" music on the internet.

Ya sounds like a good deal but i want to know if there are any bad things about it. Im really just making sure before i spend anything.

Personally I dont have any trouble finding anythign on the net from mp3s to high end 3d animation programming to porn I can get it all. However, if you want a simple answer yes it is a good deal. There are no cons that I know of. Except maybe entering into a 12 month contract or whatnot or a limit to the amount of songs you can get. But read the small print, take the time tor ead through terms and conditions if your really unsure.

However, napster is a fairly safe bet purely because it got in so much shit a while back. It was one of the pioneering legal music download programs.

I agree witht he aboce, Napster isnt easily compatible with ipods. So if you have an ipod i suggest joining iTunes music store or whatever the apple version is as that will 100% fo sheezy be compatible with your ipod.

how is napster not compatible with ipods? just download itunes and add music to youre library.

A LESSON FROM A HARDCORE SMOKER:

if your really hardcore you can just smoke out of your hands. make a loose fist but keep your fingers together and pack the entire empty space in the middle with herb. then open up your pinky finger enough so that the herb doesnt fall out but you can light it. then just breath in from the top hole and ull get mad respect -eastar5

i have heard, and granted I don't have the program so i don't know exactly how it works, but when i was looking into it, it they made it sound like you can only keep the music as long as you are a subscriber. i have no idea how that would work, if say you saved it onto an mp3 player, but check that out beforehand.

i don't think they would have undergroundish stuff though

This is the llama. I have your cub. You must protect her, but that will be expensive. 500 colonuts, wrapped in brown paper. Midnight, behind the box.

I'll be the hiena, you'll see.

I think it's a terrible deal. You pay $15/month for unlimited downloads, but you cant keep the music. So after a year you pay $180, but have nothing to show for it. Essentially you're paying for a radio.

Go there if you want to help me out and get a free ipod yourself too. thanks.

my dad works for syracuse university and kids always get in trouble for illegally downloading music there. so of course he hates that i do it, so he got napster. its good for the mainstream stuff, but there is limited underground selection, although it is getting better. also, you can download songs and play thos only on your computer. if you want it on a disc or mp3 player, you need to buy the song for a dollar.

Logic is working to stock up on premade hats so our store is closed for now. If you have a suggestion don't hesitate to e-mail me.

why would you pay 15$ for things you can get for free with bittorent?
