that's right, look that shit up.

It aint sci-fi anymore. It's gonna change the world within the next 15-30 years. just watch.

Also some advice, INVEST EARLY.

I wrote a 25 page research paper on this. Shits gonna be huge. It's already applied to some products without you even knowing, that's the best part about it.

Sun tan lotion? Is there really nanotechnology in sunscreen already? I'm seriously really curious about it. I don't know a ton, I read Prey haha if that counts for anything. What are some things that it is already in or how are they going to use it in the future? You could just give me a link if you want.

It's in Atomic Izor carving skis, or so they say. There was an article about them in popular science a few months back. Great magazine as well, some of the stuff in there is amazing. I'm glad my dad likes it because I always read it the day it gets there.

It's gonna be used in sunscreen and cosmetic products. The smaller particles better absorb uv rays as well as getting rid of the white look and greasy feel. "Nanospheres" are being designed that can be applied using soaps or lotions that will hook onto the skin so that the active ingredients are left after rinsing off. It's gonna be used in coatings to protect surfaces and even give them conductive properties. Carbon nanotubes offer a structure stronger than anything known to man. It can be used as sensors in food to detect spoilage and get rid of those inaccurate expiration dates. Filters can be designed with 'imprints' of molecules and just catch those molecules. Theres a bunch more too.

Thats cool, but if you want some really cool technology thats here now, go out and buy a Ultreo toothbrush. My lab developed this thing, and it actually uses low doses of ultrasound to blast plaque off your teeth. No more flossing, 80% plaque reduction compared to sonicares attempts (note that sonicares just vibrate).

titanium dioxide, ever seen that really shiny lipgloss women use, nanotech. MOSFET (field effect technology), etc, it's been around for a while now, it's really not new news, just new to you

Mastery of nano-technology will result in humans being immortal, period. I'll explain if the need arises, because I really need to finish some shit right now.

bio nano is gonna be off the hook,  humans won't even exhist anymore, our genetics will become so fucked and we'll be integrated with soo much wierd shit, well have the inetrnet ( but somehtign way beyond and more involved) hooked into our brains and wierd other worlds we can see and communicate through with our heads and shit, unlimited memory and basically anythgin you can possibly imagine.  Nano technology is already being used at basic levels, but it has soo much further to go, and after it gets far there is bio nano whihc integrates organic life directly to other forms of technology creting somehting fucking crazy.
