i was riding pipe in mammoth yesterday and i did a super corked five but everyone was telling me i did a 180 to a front flip what the hell has anyone seen or done or heard of it, what did i do.

i accidently did them when i was learning cork 5s cuz i threw too hard. they are called underflips and trust me, when you watch footage of it you'll see that they look waaaaaaaaaaay better less corked.

but yeh, underflip.

so it is still an under flip if you do it in the pipe cuz i know about them of jumps but never in the pipe

yeah underflip, no one has ever spun a 180 regular and then do a front flip or backflip.

no an underflip in the pipe is more like a mctwist 5

an underflip is nothing like a barani...

in a barani your rotaion is exiting from your toes to your heels (toes touch down first, then heels)

an underflip is the opposite...just think of doing a 180 then tucking it up into a front flip (switch front realy cuz you are facing the jump)

and melding those two together makes your heels come around first and your weight finishes up on you toes...thats why an underflip is easier to stick in pow...your less likely to fall backwards tomohawk style
