Id like people to think about who out of all the pro skiers who ski park can Actually ski im talking real big mountain not some little 20 foot cliff on a powder day at some resort... here is my list

Jon, Tanner,Pep, Pollard,Henrick, Tanner Rainville, Ian Cosco, Mike Riddle, James HEim, Rieley LEboe, Peter and Mike Olenick, Jossi Wells, Heath Ordaway, Stefan Thomas,Zach Davidson, Rory , Byron Wells, James Hillier, Bernie Roswow, Garrett Russell who else is good alround?

Im talking about park skiers who ride big mountain not Big mountain skier like Sage and shit who ride park.

Also Add Candide to that list hes one of the best if not the best all round skier on earth..and Jon Mcmurry

JP Auclair and Mike Douglas were twin-tip park skiing innovators, who rip big mtn now. Mark Abma can kill both pretty damn well.

Any pakr skier thats on that high level of riding should always be able to take some big mountain hits, no matter if they're a straight park skier or not. Any park skier that can't....well they're just not on that level yet.

how bout name a pro-park skier who cant ski big mountain. there isnt a sponsoered skiier out there that only can ride park and nothing eles.

My mate says he's sessioned a 40ft cliff in Whistler with Mark Abma and apparently he's super human.

Also I'd say me.

haha, that's exactly what he was saying doesn't count.

But it most really good park skiers can slay everything. I've noticed that people that are good in the park are just naturally good skiers, or come from a racing background thus can rip just about any terrain.

i think the majority of pro skiers rip in and out of the park weither its bc booters or insane lines but some of them are obviously better than others

dana flahr,

eric hjorliefson

i like to think that i can actually ski outside the park...

james heim

just to name a few...

^ well those guys are great all around skiers... but im so tired of this park skiers cant ski outside the park whining. skiing is a great enough sport to have niches and specialists and learn to praise people for being a specialist at something, its called survival and adaptation, people gotta make a living. Too often this argument is twisted into a who is progressive and who is not thing, let park rats be park rats.

Since when are the Olenicks great outside the park skiers? Have you ever seen them ski a simple line in AK?

I know it has been done but the level of skill that they illustrated riding big mountain was making my eyes bleed. That's why I don't understand how you can even say they can "Actually ski" They are not even close to versatility of Jon, Tanner, Candide, Pep, Andy and the rest of the people that have been mentioned that can actually ski the whole mountain.

It very much depends on your definition of "Big Mountain".

Half the people mentioned here wouldn't make my list. Although I agree with mckeeman's list with the addition of Sage, Hjorliefson and Pollard.

There are defs some park guys who can't ski big lines. In a freeskier issue (the one with Japan) i laughed at the part where they mentioned some Mat Phillipi (level 1). It said he proved to be all-rounded and can ski more than pipe and rails. All he was doing was a rodeo 7 off a BC booter.

Sure, that's sick, but hardly what i'd call all-rounded. It shows how specialized skiing is getting.

Yeah dude, I was about to say CR... Hes incredible in park.. pipe especially is his forte... but then again, I've seen him session some stuff at Squaw and everything in his movies is downright stupid awesome...

WORD to ths fullest man. We should all be ashamed for taking so long to mention his name. He was one of the first park skiers to take it to the bc. Long live CR, one of the Kings of the New School.
