alright i usually am not a big fan of these threads but this is a little different.

my girlfriend recently saved this pup from going to the pound. shes a 9 week old Siberian husky pure bred. i am taking care of her for a week while my girl is out of town. her family cant decide on a name for it and i have to call it something while they are gone. i was thinking "cheese" but i figured i'd humor myself with the imagination of NS.

well we just got two new kittens but my mom both had them named as she came back with the. But i like the name epok, eee-pok .
 
Ok. so i had some time to think on the plane while i should have been sleeping.. I have a cat already named Annapurrna.. heres what im thinking

Kali - river that runs through the annapurna peaks in siberia

Skaoi - skiinag ans snow goddess in norse mythology

Suka - "fast" in eskimoe

Lena? Nika? Shei?

my mom said oakley so i was thinking maybe Misty?
 
annapurna peaks arent in siberia, but i thought of "annapurna" as well, its a nice name.

it would be cool to have 2 black dogs called hugin and munin, like odins ravens.

but my favourite would be fenris. i am not sure, how its with a female dog, but its one of the gods enemies in the norse mythology (fenriswolf).
 
ahah look at you kids trying to get all "deep" about this name...name him jesus, he's the sun of god in christian mythology...no seriously though, name the dog jesus , unless your religious. it'l be funny....
 
one of my friends dogs is named that, his parents named it to. such a cool dog, plus he was trained to fight lions but hes afraid of cats and mice.
 
bella, xena, daisy, turnip, spliff? pick a name already or she is getting a randomly generated one of ebonic origin...
 
i love the name oakley, thatd b ill. i think the name eko would be sick too. but the name pepper that someone mentioned before is a cool name
 
when i get my own dog i am gonna name it somthing like Calub Harold McArthur junior the 3rd. just think of being able to say that in like a mad and impatient way "Calub Harold McArthur junior the 3rd !!, you get over here right now!" i think it would be amazing
 
I have a Siberian that LOVES cheese. It's her most favorite food ever. Her name is Annie. Let's see...I had huskies named Jewel, Dance, Yahoo and Buckaroo.

I think ive set on xena... the family approves at least. but oakley seems fitting too
 
Pick a name that you would enjoy screaming out since Huskies love to run...particularly away from you. That's why we named our Huskies Buckaroo and Yahoo.
