think back to that precious time when you were new to the site called newschoolers. what was the most newbish thing you said/did/wanted/anything

i thought when u posted a comment about a picture or video you got a post...

im still a noob.

and my stupidest so far was this really stupid reply.. that im not going to share.
 
i used to not catch on to e-sarcasm, and spend a paragraph explaining why the somebody who provoked my anger is wrong, and an idiot, only for that person to respond by saying 'yeah, i know.. i was joking'
 
when I first joined this site like 3 years ago or something I didnt know about the forums for like 3 months.

until one day I decided to see what the hell was under "interact" but back then I was too stoked on videos/pictures and quickchat to care.

^ Naw the 2 threads where I spelled font wrong isn't there. I think they may have been deleted. I posted my first ever thread made where I get pn3d by J.D.

when i first joined i thought mattman was harvey, because he had the most posts and his name is matt
 
haahah same as you! i did so many picture and video posting, and i was so confused why i still had 0 posts, i wanted to stop being a noob, yet my noobish ways kept me from doing so.
 
for a little but i thought a cult was serioualy a cult (manson family etc) so i got a whole bunch of invitiations but was afraid to join

that took balls to admit that if i do say so myself
 
ya im still kinda a noob and i recently discovered cults so i tryed making one but its really gay
 
first off, i believe there was a time when posting a comment on a pic counted as a post... but im not sure about that. i just remember hearing something about it. i spent a lot of time just reading the forums before i posted in the so i knew what to do and what not to do
 
My worst noob moment was more of a phase. That idealistic time when I thought that every post I made should actually contribute something intelligent. Then I realized that I was basically an atom of intelligence in a universe of stupidity.
 
i made a thread about how good i was because i learned 3's and it was only my first year skiing. i didnt come back for along time after what happened, lol.
 
I remember when I first started on here, I was on a "Best" craze. Specifically Boots and bindings. I'd make posts about whats the "best binding" etc. Thats about it. It's a pretty n00b thing to do.
 
for my first 3 months of my newschooler life i didn't know there was any of the forums and i couldn't figure out how people had a couple thousand posts.
 
haha, also when i joined, nopoles played a joke on me by making me pink...... and he said everybody has to be pink for the first little while as a sort of initiation process. after a month or so, and a bunch of people thinking of me as a big floozie, he told me it was all a prank, and i felt like a total newb because i thought everybody had to do it or somethin. DOH!!
 
welll heres 1 for u...u dont have to put the guys comment in quotation marks,u can just qoute his reply....haha
 
I may have been a dick in that thread because I was pissed at the little kids in the park who say, yea....AND I'VE ONLY BEEN SKIING FOR A YEAR.

Hmmm.... Well, my noobishest moment was when I made a thread asking when someone stops being a noob. I got so hated for that. Still kinda new to the site, but I've gotten the hang of it.
 
is it bad that I remember almost all of these threads people say are their most embarassing, and I haven't been here that long either
 
i was so helpful when i first joined. i used to make posts like:

"hi buddy, the thread you just made has actually been made a couple times before and you can find more information on this topic by using the searchbar. you can find it on the top right hand side of your screen. It's the little white box to the left of the the drop down menu that says "Forum." You can also use it to search news, pictures, videos, articles, reviews, and members. PM me if you need any help! Good luck with the searching!"

now i'm just like: "SEARCHBAR DUMBASS!!! DONT COME BACK UNTIL YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT AND I HOPE YOU GET BANNED!!"
