i just got a text message from like mcginnis@myspace.com saying something about a poker link and then like 5 words that started with 'v'. then i get another one 3 minutes later from salmonela@myspace.com with another poker link and like 8 words that start with 'f'. i don't have myspace or play online poker. my phonenumber isn't on facebook and is probably online on websites i order shit from, which are all legit.

i read an article today saying how myspace can now send texts or ads to phones or something? but i didn't read it all the way through. anyone else get this shit or know if it'll continue?http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20944941/ dunno if thats the same thing.

damn dude, i hope you're not too pissed. i was just dickin around Myspacin it and was really bored so I thought we could play some poker.

i got it to fucking woke me up at 5 AM i also got one from AOL. I have limited texting so if this affects my bill I will be very angry. This shit shouldnt be legal.

I got one too. I deleted my account two years ago, and never put my phone number on the internet. What the fuck.

did you ever leave your number in a comment? i dont think i ever did but how else could they get phone numbers?

theres a number that you can call to stop all like advertisments to your phone. I forget what it is though.

Nope, never. I don't like putting my number on the internet. I was only friends with friends, and they already had my number.

I've already called that number to stop telemarketers and ads, never got anything until this myspace text came this afternoon. It doesn't even make sense, its not an ad or anything. I just has a bunch of random words that start with h.

yea, it said it started today so hopefully it stops or something. like a test. i dunno. i haven't gotten anymore so far. if i get any i'm bouta call verizon and try to do something.

thats the new form of advertising. soon enough you will be walking past futureshop and get an alert telling you that big screen tv's are on sale. its genious really. cause gps tracks where you go so they know your interests, and they can aim ads to your interests. gunna be pretty annoying though...
