Hi Guys,

Check out this brand new snowpark community and give me your thoughts. I am the person behind the rather big project of getting this site ready for launch. It's almost there now - so be among the first to start using it...

The idea behind Mysnowparks.com is to collect information about all snowparks (or terrain parks, fun parks or whatever you call them) in the world. The site will let the users update almost all informations and map the park on a interactive flash map. This should help create an always up-to-date database of all snowparks. And it will make parks comparable.

Mysnowparks.com is also a community for all snowpark related people and the industry based around it (events, camps, magazines, film companies, manufacturers, and shops).

It's not an alternative to newschoolers (no forum, no articles there), but more like an extra tool for networking and first of all getting information on parks...

tried to add my mountain, and got as far as the placing it on the map. thats just a pain.

Were you unable to finish adding your mountain? It should work. You dont have to fill out all information - just the things you know. Then others can later add missing information.

But the site is still in beta and corrections are made daily.
