My view on the VT Massacre

read my previous post. Obviously people can get a gun illegally if they really want one, but we should try to make it harder for these people to acquire guns. People with serious mental disorders should not be able to purchase guns. Not only for our safety but for their own safety, had Virginia made it illegal for people who voluntarily check themselves into mental institutions like he did, it would have made it much more difficult for him to acquire weapons and there is a CHANCE this could have been prevented.

organized crime would skyrocket and the movement of illegal firearms to the us would become big business. just like proabition

A couple of problems with your idiotic solution:

1) What happens if a teach goes nuts?

Do all his students automatically die?

2) Most profs don't have any hand-eye coordination, as all they did was READ and STUDY as a child, not play sports, participate in physical activity...etc.

Do you now feel safer with a prof wielding and waving a loaded gun.

This dude's argument must be a joke, cuz it's the dumbest thing I ever heard.

in the form he had to fill out to buy the gun he stated he had no previous or continuing mental health problems. Which was obviously a lie.

This statement by him was not followed up atall by the person working in the shop, I think this is what needs to be changed. Stricter laws for gun possesion.
