My view of a skiier

well at least of someone who skis park a lot. well mostly i see skiiers who just smoke weed a lot and are very chill. now dont get offended im not saying u smoke weed if u ski cause there are obviously ppl who dont im just saying my old view was just skiiers would be chill. now NS shows me everyone is angry. and have to be mean to ppl just introducing themselves and saying they are new. come on guys
 
Its the internet... What else do you expect. People are going to be mean no matter where you go. They are protected in their homes safe from harm so they can make fun of who ever they want. Being annoying and mean to people is a way for them to get attention and not get beat up.

Is this really what you think all skiers are like?
 
exactly, just because were all asses on newschoolers doesnt mean we are all asses in real life or in person

thats what i was going to say. half the time people are mean its hilarious. and everyone knows that people are joking 99.9 percent of the time.

i mean sometimes there are funny ones but i dont think u have seen some kids in real like conversations and shit i saw a thread about how baseball wasnt a sport and kids flipped out. like it was intense
 
I totally hear what your saying and it's wicked legit. I think that part of it is that all the hate, makes non-haters hate to fit in. I dont know if that last part made any sense. I guess like one person sees someone hate, they hate on them, and etc. It is just like a big train that is already off-track.
 
oh. yeah i saw that. that thread got a little out of control and i contributed to it.

but i dont think thats the fault of the people who replied. i think it was the fault of the kid who posted a highly controversial thread just asking to get reemed.

no just at my mountain kinda its just the majority of skiiers i meet are really fun to ski with cause they are laid back. part of skiing is to be free my idea to make that better is to just light up a bowl and take in all of those surroundings
 
congrats on inspiring me to post a kind compliment in another thread just now where i probably wouldve ranted.

the way i see it, their is no reason to be mean to new members posting "hello" threads, some people click o it most don't, and it quickly dissapears into the the back of the lineup, so don't complain, you were a new member once, and you wanted respect, so don't give them bullshit, you don't have to say anything, but if you wnat to, be positive about it
 
Just replying to that stereotype up top. im a skier, and i dont smoke pot, and im not going to. ever. but, it does seem like the majority of park skiers do smoke weed, i see tons of it at my hill.
 
the reason so many skiiers smoke is because they're all hella chill, the skiers that dont smoke usualy arent very good no offense or anything. But i have some friends that dont smoke or drink or anything and they make fun of EVERYONE from the chair lift when they suck so much more than everyone they yell at, they always have excuses why they didnt try something too it gets really annoiying

im not saying that non smokers cant ski what so ever im just writing my experiences with them
 
i can see what you mean but i know people who don't smoke and they are one of the better kids i've seen out there and i know from experience that a lot of kids on my slopes who do smoke weed are really bad.
 
everyone puts up a false front on the net, because they are trying to act tough, im sure most of these people are wicked nice in real life
 
to hold them we used white owl plastic cases and my grenade fatigue jacket had what we called an arsenal, perfect pockets to hold these containers. Then when we lost those some how we would use a tooth brush holder, pure genius
