My very first 10 hour work day...

today i went to work for my dad, installing a as unit,furnace, and condencer for 10 hours straight...it was cool...and i got to work alot of sheet metal, although the down side is my hands are really cut up becasue they arent tough enough ....but hell ya i made 75.00 un-taxable dollars...gotta love it...

I have worked almost 40 hours in the last four days. It has paid off big, but i dont think i plan on doing it again anytime soon.

 
yep, i work from 7am to 4pm babysitting these kids, i dont have to do a thing, and i get 50 bucks at the end of the day, and next week, the pool will be set up so we can go swimming, its sweet

o man can i relate, my dad is a lawyer and he works long hours today i worked 12 hours like going through three hundred page documents making sure certain numbers mathced, and like 8-10 the other days this week because i cant get a ride home from anyone but him, but its good cash

after a long day of work, its so satisfying to just sit down on the couch and watch tv. both of the jobs i've had require me to be standing the whole time. one job usually had around 16 hour shifts (catering from like 8am-1am) and now i work at an over stringent candy store. great.

i like paydays, but i haven't gotten my fucken check this week.

ha, everyday is a 10 hour day for me...zip tying skis and boots together and unloading all next years shit.

 
80 bucks to set up my uncle's printer/scanner/fax to his computer for his business. He's generous with his money. But I prefer my lawn cutting business though. I cut lawns for 20-40 bucks and when I am to lazy to go cut em I get my younger bro to go cut em. I pay him 15 bucks, I pocket the rest. Easy cash.

So my original plan was to work my ass of so i could pay for school in tahoe , but i found out that mr.GOvt. is gonna pay for me so now instead of 40 hour weeks for my dad i show up whenever i can wake myself up and work for a few hours and go home . 10 bucks an hour like 5-6 hours a day then i go lifeguard in the afternoon and teach swim lessons and make like 8:50 to swim for 2 hours and go home and wack it . As soon as i get a new job in tahoe im thur.

soooo 6 days a week @10-12 hrs a day @between 12-22 dollars an hour.... haha

oh and everyone saying that they're the most badass cause they've worked a 16 hour day are all poser bitches. 24.5 hour day putting together portable walls at a private school in pacific palisades when i was 18. so there. peace

i work 13- 15 hour days twice a week

cause i have 2 jobs so i have to go to onw in the morning and then another at nite

 
man i work at the museum ROM in toronto and make 10 an hour... and double bubble on weekends... 8 hours a day... big money man

i designed and contracted printing of shirts for my High School and made 900 dollars, tax free, for just over 10 hours of work.

 
im a bell man. its amazing, in the off season when i make shit for cash i get paid to get high on my couch. the not making money thing is killing me though, it's giving me some ambishion to actually goto school. it's amazing how well you can apply yourself when you can relate things to your benefit.

i passing this calss with 105.25% and its fucking accounting. the most boring thing i've ever learned

I hate to be one of those "Oh yeah? Well I..." guys, but for the past year and a half I've worked 2 jobs, double full time almost the entire time. About 75 hours a week, which is usually 5 15 hour days a week, sometimes I only get one shift from each job on a day, and i'll work like a month and a half straight, no days off.

I only get paid like $10 plus tips, so it's not really that great of money. But it still adds up since you're not out spending it drinking or whatever.

And the sleep deprivation kind of catches up with you.

yeah i went to switzerland thought id work easy hours, then suddenly im there doing 5-6 days a week at 9- 12 hours a day. It sucked but i earned mad money- 20 franks an hour at basically minimum wage i believe. I love that exchange rate

skisebski: haha, that is lower than minumum here in norway. i have like $17 an hour, and that is at my summerjob. you earn 71 NOK an hour and i make 120 NOK, thats sick :)

I worked 6am-2pm then 4pm-11:30pm 5 days a week.

That's your 75 hours a week.
