Maybee one day we could have a world with one government. No wars fought over nationalism, No third world underpriveleged countries, one world army only there to keep the peace, equal rights, no detention camps where prisoners are kept and tortured under suspission only no trial, no genocide left to thrive while the UN sits on it's asses cause they're busy worrying about the little issue's their country is having.

Most of you probably won't agree with me, and sadly this will probably never happen unless the world faces a huge devastating change (maybee like when we send ourselves into the next ice age) but I believe we would truly become an advanced civilization if we all united to work towards global equality, peace and happiness.
 
Yeah, but a true utopia would never be achievable. Its my bad days that make my good days good, you know? You've got to have some bad to appreciate the good.
 
humans are way too conniving and manipulative to be able to function in a society like that. There will always be people to exploit the system.

 
because its human nature to subjugate, exploit and use people for one's own personal profit. This notion has only increased as humans have evolved further throughout history.

There is always a contradictory divergent.

As long as the human species is able to attain such diversity and individualism, there will never be a perfect, even near perfect, world that satisfies all or even most.

the current leaders of the world are already working together to conspire events from behind the scenes in order for them to create a globalized system...

the same 13 bloodlines have had power in the world since the time of the babylonians...

you want one world govt in which you will become a number on a barcode thats implanted in your wrist at birth? (which they are already devising under the name VeriChip)

bush, blair and many other world leaders are in favor of this chip and have spoken of a "new world order"... bush sr. gave a speach about their plans of the "new world order" exactly ten years to the day before september 11th... look it up

check out the internment camps that resemble nazi germany that are popping up in rural areas all over the united states... FEMA covers them up by saying they are facilities to house the people in case of an armageddon type event... when in reality these camps will be for anyone unaccepting of the verichip or their global policies in general...

yeah the armageddon type event is their global control....

research the illuminati... their symbolism is evident in most of our largest coporation's logo's and emblems... its even on the back of the dollar bill... the all seeing eye pyramid is enscripted with the words novus ordus seclorum... which translates to "new world order"

open your eyes people...

and its awfully easy to refute such evident fact with things like OH YOUR A CRAZY CONSPIRACY THEORIST.... BLAH BLAH SHUT UP

i've never thought about a single government before. but in my mind it sounds like an amazing idea. But then wars would be fought over power. They would be so many people wanting to rule.
 
I think a good population of this world doesn't want to unite with other populations. Pakistan uniting with Israel? Thats like the Coyote from Bugs Bunny making friends with Roadrunner.
 
I hate to rain on your parade, but there is absolutely no way a single government could accomodate all the different lifestyles and ideas the world has. Something that works for Nigeria isn't going to work for Canada, and what works for Canada won't necessarily work in Thailand, etc. In order to make anything bearing any semblance to what you're suggesting you would have a government that was so vague and comprimised it would totally redefine mediocrity. In this case, a jack of all trades would be the master of few (or more likely, none).

Anyways....good idea, it's just too bad reality won't let it happen.
 
While I agree, think about the United States...what works for Maine doesn't necessarily work for Arkansas but the government functions. a multi-layered federation would likely work on most levels.
 
Well I'm not talking about a world government that eliminates the faces and turns people into objects. I'm thinking more something like the UN but with more power and responsibility so that it acctually works. Global well-being would be the reason the leaders are elected, not for the well-being of a single country. But thanks for the theories you should go watch Zeitgeist that movie has some nice bullshit in it for you swallow up.

I was reading youtube comments and one of the creators of that movie (yes he was acctually arguing in youtube comments) made a post claiming that we would all have computer chips in our brains and no free will. Which I think it could potentially happen, the world is going in a pretty fucked up way right now but it's still not likely, however, this guy was claiming this theory was "fact". He didn't just say it once either he said it was fact 4 or 5 times.
 
People would call you a conspiracy theorist because their right, theres a fine line drawn between awareness, analysis and deconstruction of arguments, and just plain searching for answers that aren't there. The latter is what those who claim the influence of groups like illuminati are doing.

People get so caught up in the possibility of coercion and conspiricy that they go to any lengths to search for clues of government control or in your terms 'New world order" The veri chip is approved by the federal drug administration not as a legislative measure but simply that if it were to be implanted it would not pose health risks. REGARDLESS of the fact that it will never pass. Its a fundamental break of human rights, privacy, and the constitution. I have no idea what you're talking about with internment camps, and theres certainly no connection to the verichip, its absurd.

Its allegations like these that give policy makers the excuses to disclaim anything activists have to say because tis precisely these idiotic claims that as a whole, make us look bad.

Life sucks its true. So does the world and there are institutions in place to ensure that it will continue to suck for many years to come. Dont however go around assuming its the fault of institutions that don't exist and theories that have no basis in truth. Research, use judgement, then argue.

Utopia means fictional perfect place, or no place at all.

Eutopia means as close to perfect place as you can get in the real world.
 
Keep in mind that's small-scale (relative) and this country has essentially grown under the existing government. Taking something way bigger and more diverse and trying to force a new leadership on it woudln't work so well.
 
I know exactly what the work utopia means, I used it because I don't believe that this will ever happen, sadly. There are too many things like the bad side of human nature that will cause it to fail. It's one of those things like communism that works very well in theory but since people are so fucking stupid it won't work
 
Everything is relative. An epic pow day wouldn't be epic if every day was an epic pow day. You would not even enjoy pow days because you've never experienced a bad day. There would never be forever happiness for if happiness was truly forever, you would never know anything else.
 
yes well unfortunatly a bad day in our world means thousands of people will never get the chance to experience another day. I know things could be a lot worse, but I think we could probably aim our goals a little higher.

It would be nice if the UN would acctually do something too.

you say there is no basis of truth... there are pictures and documents that put these leaders in a pickle that expose them performing these rituals and being part of the secrect societies that introduce the young members of the royal family to their secret plan... communicating with one another on a symbolic level...

research the FEMA camps as well... they are very real and very scary....

its an idea that surfaced a long time ago in the midst of the cold war...
