My town changed the date for halloween

I live in New Jersey, so obviously we took a lot of damage from Sandy. I heard word that the governor moved the date of halloween. You can't just change the date of a fucking holiday. It's just not the same. Inb4 it's a conspiracy

Um, yes you can. My kids are gonna get 2 Halloweens, cause one of the local towns had to postpone theirs til tomorrow. How often do you get two Halloweens?!

Halloween isnt an important holiday such as christmas of hannukah, so its okay to move a non religious/really important holiday if need be.

My town move the 4th of July parade and fireworks to a day later because it happened to land on a Sunday and everyone is Mormon Around here. Not comparable i know but at least you have a good reason to move it
