My surf trip

i have just had the most epic few weeks of my life a 3 day surf trip on the east coast of aus turned into a 3 week adventure going up the coast then a week on a boat in the Caroline islands then a few days in the Solomon island and a couple of days in Victoria also we were doing aid work in the solomon islands so it was not just surfng, fuck i love working for myself and not having commitments anyway here are some pics!

Wow those shots are sick. That one tube where the reef is like 3 feet under looked super gnarly if you fell.
 
thats insane dude. i went to bells last year at this time and it wasnt half as good as that looks. all bells is better than what i ride all year though. sick pictures.
 
yea bells is sick, really lucky with the swell,

the second shot is from winki pop which is just round the corner.

oh and yea the frst shot is from wave hunters, we didn't take that many pics and i wanted to grab one more. to show the tubesthat are there
 
wow that looks like such a sick trip. how did you up end up staying longer?

i'm trying to put together a trip of the sort.

what'd you do for volunteer work?
 
i have taken the first few months of this year off, i have changed careers and just chilling while setting my stuff up, i was up visiting some friends and then people started calling wanting to go on holiday so t was 4 separate trips,

aid work wise i work with a group called christian surfers and we went over and helpt build a school in the solomons taught people about malaria nets and what not.

i learnt to surf when i was a kid at manly beach, then did the lfe guard thing for a few years as a teenager so surfed everyday for like 3 years.
 
the 2nd and 4th shots are sooo sick

and agreed with above^^^

there is no other feeling in the world that can compare to carving up and down the face of a empty and perfect wave
