My summer set up (with pics)

Hey guys. I just had a rail jam today. This was my second of the summer. The first session sucked and we used snowgel and turf. This session was pretty good, we used only turf, and the setup (set up with no flat in between the ramp and jump) worked really well. Here's pics:

This last one is what we had set up most of the time. And 8 ft. down box. I had a down flat set-up, but there wasn't quite enough speed. With only the down box we had plenty of speed.

Like $55 or something total for box boxes (a 48" x 48" Sheet of 1/4" thick HDPE). The boxes are 8' long, 1' wide, and 1' tall. The drop in is 6 feet tall (the platform). I want to add like 4 feet more to it so it's like 10' for jumps in the winter. Any questions I can answer.

looks fun, u guys shouldve set it over the bonfire pit and slid it!! that wouldve been gnar core.

i used snow gel with my turf and it was really fast....used the same turf two nights later and just re-wet the gel and it was still real fast...worked great for us...we had an up-gap-down set up

Drop In (wood): $50 (guess) plus labor.

Box wood and screws: $30 (guess) plus labor.

HDPE (topsheet) 4'x4'x1/4"= $55?

Turf: $30 (guess) (two 6x8 strips cut so I has for 3x8 strips)

All together: $165

[not including the rail whis was like $30 for the plastic (too thin 1/8") and I already had that wood]
