Yep. Four days on em and the EVA pad on the back spoiler just came out of the left boot. Looks like the machine/Asian person overtightened the screw that hold that down and it ripped straight out. Now to get my $315 (I got a deal) boots warrantied its 2 weeks back on shitty boots that kill the shins and dont fit. Shit blows. I thought solly had decent quality control, anybody else had this issue?

my power strap just fuckin fell off and its big ass rivits not screws so i can fix for now. i just slide it in the back and keep skiing.

Does anyone else get bad toe bang

2 weeks into mine, power strap ripped off bolts included. luckily the most ballin shop ever re inforced them with steel bolts and washers, and it is now solid. www.rideskj.com

I meant they pack out alot.

I sized out to a 30, got into a 28.0, and had i bought it, im pretty sure it would still be too big in terms of volume. Just too much padding.

supposedly there sized, by adding the numbers together, ex. 28.5- 2+8+.5= 10.5, however dont go by that, cuz when you flex forward your feet moved back atleast 2 sizes. so if you have like a size 11 ft? i would suggest the 27

spks are amazing boots. i look forward to seeing what's in the future, like even better than spks. anyways, your problems seem really minor. if the power strap falls off, yeah it's shitty construction of the boot, but just take it to a shop and get them bolted down tight.

My strap fell off too, but its fine cause its still attached to one grommet. I could easily epoxy that pad and ski with it, but the rents wouldn't let me cause it would void the warranty. They also insisted that I send them in now so they are back by the time we go to Colorado later in march, which blows because they work fine (I just have to set the pad in there) and now I have to ski at least two weeks with the worst shin bang known to man.

I ripped the cord on the liner yesterday in mine! I tied a knot in it and it works for now, but what should I do wait till the end of the season and try to warantee it??? sorry for threadjacking... but it's not really worth a new thread.

sounds like salomon is still makin awesomeee products, id wait a couple years til teh kinks are worked out of teh boots, im sure next seasons will be better

I cant say i understand all of this complaining about shin bang...i ride head mojo's, from last year and they arent taht soft of a boot and i get absolutely ZERO shin bang, and they are a little big cause of packing out...i have never ahd shin bang...like the man said earlier, are you landing with your back flat to the ground or something?
