My Ski season is over...

Ok, I am going to give you real advice now. And this is advice from someone who has been around. All this crap 12 year olds are telling you isnt going to work.

1) tell your parents you have given up all extra curiculiar activities to raise your grade, and keep your word (no tv, no going out, no skiing etc). Be honest and sincere and dont think you can come up with a one line argument that will get them to change their mind, it wont work.

2) talk to you school counselor and impress upon him how important skiing is, and that you may become so devastated by missing this entire year of skiing that it might adversely affect your whole high school carreer and cause you to act out. Ask for advice. Again, dont think you can just come up with something clever and he will solve everything for you, be honest.

3) also have a talk with your parents. Write out your scores, and tell them while you will do everything you can to improve them, them springing this on you at the last minute is a bit unfair. Do the math for them. Show them that if you improve your scores by say %20 over what you have been getting, your final grades will only be

4) If your parent still dont care about how much harder you are trying, and only care about the bottom line, with so little time to improve, again, explain this to your counselor.

Or just call me a fag for telling you to try to talk to your parents as an adult, and letting a adult try to intervene. Act out through the rest of high school, doing even more drugs, and not ski a single day till your 18, barely graduate from high school and be a drug dealer the rest of your life

Man you got it hard, thats a real bummer. Luckily both my parents are avid skiers (met on dartmouth ski team) so they wouldnt take that away. As for the grades, I think we are similiar. I get super good grades in the classes I like, and get Bs in the classes I either hate the teacher of, or are uninterested in.

mini claim: For Modern world history, my teacher gives 10 points of extra credit for every blog post you do, 500 words or more. There is no limit on how many you can do. Before turning in my final project, i had a 169%, after turning in my final project on how evil zombie nazis were behind every major downfall of every Empire in history, i had a 97%. /Claim

its called a weighted average. classes such as AP and honors look WAY better then regents level. plus if a person gets an 80 in AP (unweighted) itll be like a 92 or so weighted. which is pretty damn good.

steveys knows what's up. you mihgt not be able to ski for a bit, but if you put some work in you'll get back in time to get some good skiing in
