My ski options for this year! - Need help!

Okay, so the season is getting closer and closer, and yet i dont have my shit together.

so here are my options:

1. Use my k2 disorderlys with a cracked egde, pulling out, the bases arent holding wax, and there a little on the heavier and stiff side for me. they are mounted with a axial120.

2. Go to a shop and get a baseweld done on my k2 fujatives, the fujys have not been used once because a ski shop drilled thru the ski. The hole isnt very big at all, its more like just a sliver with a bubble effect. Then use the fujatives with the bindings off my disorderlys.

3. # 2 but get new binders for fujatives

4. Get new skis and just use the axial 120s.

I really dont want to go back to using the disorderlys just because of the weight and flex, im looking for a really fun buttery ski. What do you think NS ?!

thts easy. get new skis with ur axials. or second option is use fujis cuz there sick skis. but i would go with the last option

bump, i was looking at just picking up some red k2 silencers. Are the silencers similar to invaders in flex and weight? i really wanna know because i might order tonight.

There a cheap cap ski that doesn't have a very smooth flex while turning.

You should get 09 Thalls. They are easy to get for not a ton of money and seem to fit what you are looking for(a ski that can easily butter well and do good on jumps?).

well i usually do rails and boxes, but im not really that great, also i hit about 30 ft jumps. I love to do butters, and im pretty much always on groomers/park bc i live in the midwest.

You said your disorderlys were stiff?

Thats very, very wierd. They are one of the softest skis ive ever felt in my life, the only thing softer were invaders or anthems. But if i were you, id get Silencers, their my favourite ski of all time, i just wish they didnt come in stupid sizes cause i would be all over them, their fun, light, poppy, and they get a lot softer as you wear them in. So i would say if you get the chance get the Silencers, their cheap, last long (mine have lasted me 4 years and still going strong) where as my extremes have lasted me 1 year and are already chipped to shit, light and poppy and all around a fun as hell ski, So GET THEM!!

Number 4 obv. I would get ar6's for the axials. They might be a little stiff for you, but once you start hitting bigger kickers you'll be glad you have them, your at a point where you'll most likely start progressing rediculously fast, trust me. The ar6 is also amazingly durable and is great for ripping down groomers.

yeah my brother got the new invaders for 135$ .... and idk if i want to get the same ski lol. idk it would be weird, and i found silencers for only 135 bones.

which skis though? are the silencers good for what i want to do. Mostly rails/boxes some 25 foot jumps, butters, lightweight.

I don't know man, I think your bro has the best skis for that...

haha I actually have same skis as my twin bro and its fine

i would say get anthems but all the sites with good prices sold out. i picked up mine for 210 and christy sports had em for 200 but sold out. try and find em for a good price even 250 would still be a good deal. theyre durable and mega fun. o and definitely use the axials theyre sick

doesnt matter if its a ski you arent gonna like. silencers have an inconsistent flex pattern with a medium-stiff tail and soft nose, altho the whole ski breaks in and gets soft eventually, itll never be consistent, and itll always feel kinda dead (no pop). for what you want to do, silencers arent it.

thalls, punx, invaders/anthems, fujatives, thrusters would all kill it for what you want. go find one of them cheap

thanks, i have 07 fujatives, but there is a small slit thru the base, because of the shop drilling thru, im going to call a local shop(a good one) and see if they can baseweld it and fix it.
