My ski jacket (help)

Let me weave a tale...

I was chillin on this corner on holloween with all my homies, when shit turned bad.

A guy I knew took a paintball grenade, heaved it in my direction, and it exploded 5 feet in front of me, completely spattering my ski jacket, which I was wearing to keep snuggly warm. I gave it a quick preliminary wash and today I washed it with a rag and soap and now its drying. I cant tell yet if the paint is all gone until it dries, but if it doesnt go away, is there anything else I can do?

I've thought about making him pay for a new jacket if it doesnt work out, but I would rather not have that as my first option.

This jacket has a sweet place in my heart, its a burton ronin insolated hoody and I spent countless summer days working 5 bucks an hour to get it.

Please help!

it should because most paint and stuff is washable if its paint grenades or paintballs or w/e

yea professional cleaners have magical powers so if you can't get it out try them, although paintball stuff is usually water based paint that comes out real easy, just might take a few washing to get it back to 100%

also jsut like one of those copper scrubbing pad thingys that you use to wash dishes might work w/ soap. dunno.

wash it in the washer. get the nikwax u need. then just use your washer and dryer. it works like a charm. and itll get it more waterproof again.

Paintball grenades? What an asshole move.

But yeah, I'd say take it to a professional cleaner.

Good luck

Yeah, you can kill him, take his wallet, and buy a new one. How are you not fuming pissed?

No drycleaner. They ruin waterproof jackets!!! Try a cleaner for carpets (really) it's called SPOT SHOT. Use it just where necessary. It's great. My friends mom works at a clothing store she told me about it when I almost ruined my pants. It works.
