My ski hill is on fire :'(

That region is like my second home, hopefully the town and area makes it out relatively unscathed. From what I last heard, the fires were within 50 feet of the lab boundaries.

i saw this thread a few days ago, but i read an article in the newspaper on it today. they said the lab will be fine. but just think how much more skiable terrain you will have at your mountain. vibes

Well hopefully their aren't trees close enough to fuck up the lifts. IF the trees burn can still ski there. Just be some open sections and cool half burned glades.

living in australia we have regular bush fires and my mountain along with others have nearly burnt down completely

Yeah man you should be set, most mountains have been burned like a mofo and turned out fine, or better.

things might turn out for the better. but no doubt thats devastating to see, if my home hill was burning down.... dont even know what i'd do......
