We spent $100 even. I already have a swing set which we will use for the drop in. The swingset will only support 3' wide. I am building just 1 pvc rail currently 1' above the ground but will be making more/higher but I want to get a feel for the speed I will be getting.
What we bought
2 - 12' lengths of 3' wide turf (61 cents a sq. foot, 2 steps higher than the lowest)
3- 8' cheap plywood cut 3' wide, 1 cut into 5'/3' for the top on the swingset and the flat part after the drop ($8 each)
2- 10' electrical pvc pipe, it was cheaper and thicker ($2 ea)
9- 8' 2x4 to support our plywood (a couple bucks ea)
2- 10' 2x4 for the rail ($4 ea?)
High End 4x4's (Free in the dumpster)
Nails, hinges, and various stuff to attach it to the swingset and together
Circled is where the drop will begin. the 3x3 plywood will be put there the post above that is perfect for sitting on and keeping snowboarders OFF

Day 1
Cut 4x4's in 6" lengths and attached 5 of them to one of the 10' 2x4's (The circle saw doesnt go through a 4x4 in 1 saw so it was a bitch to get it perfectly flat)
