My school cancelled their ski trip

so im from maryland and we havent even gotten our first inch of snow. so of course i signed up on my school ski trip going to killington vermont. it was gonna be presdents day weekend for 3 days and it was gonna be sick. unfortunately the teacher that is in charge of the thing broke her leg. so the bitch cancels the trip and pretty much ruins my winter. i am so pissed right now and im wondering has anyone else had a bigger buzzkill?
 
A bigger buzzkill would be if you broke YOUR leg, I'd imagine, because you would have a broken leg in addition to not going on the trip.
 
Same happened to me, but it's because some idiot on last year's skiing trip drank so much that she fell into a coma and had to be taken to hospital.
Plus the other class gets to go because their teacher wants to take them and he got permission...
 
my school canceled theirs too, but its just cause only 25 kids signed up and we needed 45. and there are 2500 kids in my school none the less. sucks being in city schools.
 
Best advice. There are plenty of ways to do that trip with your buddies on the cheap that will be WAY better than the school trip.
 
dude that sucks. im from MD but go to school in the district, and we just got back from our trip. went to keystone and breck for 3 days, so epic. /end claim

try andd take initiative with this though. see if you can find another teacher to go instead, or get parents to organize it. you still have MLK weekend coming up. has the school refunded your money yet? good luck dude
