My School Blocked NS!

Dude I was so mad I was writing my English On the Computer and when the teacher left I was straight to NS but It was BLOCKED So i asked the teacher and she said " This site can be inapropriate" and I asked her to showw me and she couldnt find a thing so I still dont get NS and thas bull anyone else have this problem?
 
use a proxy to access everything blocked.

My school uses websense which blocks fucking algebra 2 notes. The developers of websense are fucking retards. Luckily I just get a proxy address everyday before I leave for school and use that.
 
Schools have been blocking NS for over half a decade, and needless to say, NSers have still been getting on NS at school. Search "blocked" and you'll get a number of threads with step by step directions to beating the system. I cringe to think of high school without NS.
 
same. I dont have any classes this year where we use computers really at all. I had a Photoshop class last year, lots of ns time.
 
You think thats bad... my school blocked all flash. That means you can go to ns, but no video or pictures, anywhere.
 
It was like that in 7th grade. all us young ones went crazy. haha. always watching videos. Now I'm in 10th grade and its been blocked since. other than the beginning of the year. but thats it.
 
if your school blocks proxies you can still use an https on secure sites. for example, i use https://btunnel.com, a secure proxy that allows me to surf on non-secure sites such as newschoolers. although most flash is blocked.

I can't play gnarshmallow :(
 
haha, ns is the one sight i love that isnt blocked, damnit it it was blocked i could get some work done
 
There might be ways around it depending on what your filter is. I have a password to override ours because I know the tech assistant.
 
my school never blocked ns back in hs. but im pretty sure im the only kid who skis in that school, much less is on ns.
 
Websense sucks.

That said, my school uses it and I can still get to YouTube, Facebook, MySpace, etc. NS is accessible with the exception of photos being blocked. Which isn't really an issue considering the problems the new site has been having with photos.
 
anyone know of a proxy site that will let me use youtube and play gnarshmallow? all the ones i have tried it always says i need upgraded flash player but i have the latest one
 
my school hasn't blocked NS, and i've been going on since 9th grade. I'm a senior now, but i'm probably the only one who every goes on in my school.
 
Luckily my school only blocks videos on NS, but even with the password for it I can't get through to the videos because the page itself isn't blocked... I can get on YouTube with it tho, so I can still see some sick skivideos!
 
Hahah i just talked to my Graphic Communications teacher and explained to him that i needed flash to "study different types of cinematography" I had flash back in a week. Now all i do in that class in watch ski edits
 
Some tech-guy at our school left his computer acct. logged on. Needless to say i fixed a few things...
 
dude schools have the worst blockers now, if you even go on a proxy at my school you get kicked off the computers for the whole year, and they know in like 30 min of when you went on it, ns just got banned last week for me tho
 
i dont have the problem because like stated above i am th onely person in my town to have an NS so its not blocked but some of my friends who dont ski like to play ganrshmallow so after a bunch of people started playing gnarshmallow it got blocked
