What Does "bump" mean and what is "PM" is that a messege or something i have been gogin to this site forever just to look at vids and pics but recently i have been using it to buy some boots of someone so help a me out

 
when you reply to a post in a thread, the thread is automaticly sent to the top of list of threads in that particular forum. if you "bump" a thread it means you send it to the top of the list so people can see it again.
 
only bc i can remember those noob days.... anyways a bump is a message posted to bump the thread to the top of the list so more people see it, and PM is a Personal Message, and to send one you have to be viewing someones profile (click on their username) and at the bottom will be a box of typing a PM, or personal message to that person.
