My rockered park skis

so a few days ago i decided to rocker out my thrashed old 1st gen stls. i used the old basement stair method, and an industrial heating blanket from my ski press. they are wicked soft, so with the rocker, its a pretty squishy ski.

anyway, i tried them out a few days ago when it was cold, and they were totally unridable. fuck, just wasted some skis. well today it was real warm and sloppy (think late spring conditions), and i decided to bust them out again. they fucking shredded! they just slash around through the slush. most fun ive had in a while. and cause they are a pretty small waisted ski, they were still really light to throw around. definitely a day where a stiffer, normal cambered ski just dug in, but a full blown pow ski would be too much.

sounds cool, my bro rockered some Jp vrs julians and they're fucking sick in powder, crud and pretyt much anythign but hardpacked.

ripping cruddues has never been so fun u ntil i got rockered skis. and the huge pow ones are still very mabigable to turn

Basically to rocker skis using stairs you have to have open steps, stick the skis down, tie ropes to the end not stuck in the stairs, tie em up, and heat em. It was in a big thread a while back, so no you guys aren't noobs you just didn't get the memo.

i snapped my first gen STL's on urbz downtown. sounds like you made better use. come shromp them at springs an stop just talkinjg about it, cuz

sounds sick, but I don't get how it would help out in the park. At all.

Oh, and to anyone who wants to rocker their good skis...

don't.

but ya from water ramping and and just grabbing my tips and shit my ignitions are all rockerd and they are soo much fun to fuck aroudn with ....super buttery and fun for presses

he explained why it was nice on a thin waisted ski

cause it was less to throw around in the slush

and a wide ski just wasn't necessary, cause it was a slushy day

i didn't say it, its in the thread topic
