My revised opinion on homosexuality

Just so we are clear here......they estimate around 1 in 10 people in the

world are homosexual. Right now the world population is about 6.6

billion people.

So if I am correct, which I am, you hate approximately 660,000,000

people because they like members of the same sex. And as you said, you

don't care if they are a good person, etc, because to you, they are

just a "fag-ass bitch." Even if it was 1 in 100 you would hate almost

70 million people. Nice! You make the world a better place.

Are you honestly trying to say that it is not unfair, just the way it

is, to hate over half a billion people because of their sexual

orientation? BAH!

I don't see any reason why you would hate people different than you...I still am a bit grossed out by it but I don't hate them for it.

I dont have an issue if you disagree with a culture, people, or society. For example, I dont agree with Mormons in terms of religion. But I dont hate all Mormons. Hell, I dont even hate one. They have different views and ways than I do, but I see no reason to hate them for being different. Same thing applies with... well, any group. Seems to me you missed out on a few talks back in kindergarten about being different.

Yes I "know" religion, and I read your article. First of all it is DEFINED as a social institution. Would you like me to give you the definition of social institution also? Obviously marriage was established for religious reasons, I'm not retarded.

Marriage in certain religions may be for the sole purpose of procreation. Your point?

I also would like to know why you are arguing gay marriage with me in the first place. I thought it was clear that I don't support gay marriage.

And civil unions are yet another discussion. So basically you're killing the whole debate (I have a hard time calling these types of arguments on this site debates) that was taking place about the way in which gays come to be gays.
 
to me it sounded like you were against the union of any same sex couple, by any means of a social institution

you asked for someone to point out where marriage requires fertility-- marriage, something created by the church, and done by the church, following church law, would then mean that we define marriage by church's standards, so when i point out that churches require procreation to be in the plans of marriage it is to answer your question.

i don't suport gay marriage because marriage is an institution of the church, while i do not support the church, i respect their right to be intollerant and exclusive.

gay and straight people deserve equal rights, which can be offered through civil unions, and state marriages.

and social institution is the broad spectrum of social life where as religious institution is the spectrum of social life pertaining to religions. marriage therefore, to me, would be a religious institution.

I think it would be ironic if homosexuality was created by God to try to delay us from fucking the planet over so quickly. I believe he is saying that overpopulation is a serious problem in the world, which is true. It is going to become a much bigger problem in the next 30 years.....I don't believe he is saying he hates humanity. But this thread is so full of meaningless hate that who really knows.

in rats and mice homosexuality occurs with overcrowding. as far as the human population goes id say its def not a choice, if not why would some gay people stay in the closet most of their lives.
