My resting heartbeat is apparentlyreally high?

how long did you wait between moving, and checking your resting hr? cause walking or just moving for a little bit could shoot it up to 100 or so. check it in the morning when your still in bed. this is the most accurate time to do a resting HR. 60-70 is normal. for endurance athletes, it can get down to 30-40, for fat people it can get up to 80-90.

i wanted to get accurate results so i went to the nurse yesterday, and she made me sit down for a couple min, then she took it, and got 93

Well if you got 177 you were probably wrong, that is almost max heart rate for a lot of people. 103 would have been reasonable after a few sets of jumping jacks.

177 isn't particularly ridiculous having just done jumping jacks, higher than i would expect, but not shocking. as for your resting heart rate, theres a whole ton of factors, some that people have mentioned, but even stuff like caffeine, sugar, stress, those will all raise your heart rate. as for 'working out', lifting weights isn't gonna help cardio if that's what you mean, if you do some cardio type stuff 3 times a week, then, well your heart rate is super high

that isnt healthy dude.... your max heart rate is 205 (220-age).... 120 is like what i get when working out and im like 70 normal.... stop eating fatty foods and go running, lifting weights wont do much

If you work out and just lift weights, then start doing some running. If you run you will get your cardio going and that could fix it. If not, then I don't know what to tell you.

did you ask your teacher? If she didn't know if that was good, bad, or whatever, then shes an idiot. Ask a doctor, school nurse, or athletic trainer, don't ask NS.
