This year is the second year im freeskiing. I bought my twin tips last year, but i didn´t do much that year. All i did was hit some boxes 90 on to sw..no rails etc.
This year i thought im going to step up my game because i want to get good at this! I´ve been 2 times at a local park and i learned to rail a down rail sausage ( a big sausage looking thing..you know what i mean? ), but only to hop onto it. I built a rail from PVC pipe and learned to rail it and did a couple 270s of of it. Back at the park i shredded alot on a flat box wich was about 2m long and 20-30cm wide. After the second day i could do bs&fs SWup, Kfed, fs 270 of, fs 270 on 270 of, i did some scissoring while doing SWups, Sw 270 on Swup and some more. I know this is on a flatbox wich maby aint that difficult but what do you think of this ? Next im going to learn to do SWup:s on a flat rail, 270on and of and lislides and probably SW on!
Now to the question :D
On what did you first learn to do 270 on and to what did you progress after that ? I learnt on a flatbox and next im going to a flat rail--->Down rail.
Cheers and keep killin´it !

Learn 270 on to a dancefloor or flat-box if your resort does not have one.

If they do, then move on to a wide flat-box, then flat-rail, then down-box and finally down-rail.

Flat-box and flat-rail is pretty much the same thing, just learn to lock with your front foot as soon as you land, so you dont continue to spin.

On the down-box and down-rail learn to wait bringing your tips around, so you do not catch your tips on the box/rail.

And start learning some switch up 270 out variations (both natural and unnatural).

That's about it :-)

so you learned k fed before blind 2 out, and 2 on 2 off before 2 ons? sorry but im going to call bullshit on your progression.

10 foot down rail with about a 3 inch flat surface on top (if that makes sense). A lot of the trick to 270 on's is to get your upper body angled right so that you land nice and even on the rail and don't let your skis slip our from under you. Thus I didn't think it was much help trying them onto flat boxes because its really nothing like doing them onto a rail IMO. I chose a short down rail that was only about a foot off the ground. Got it my third try. I'm not ready to take it urban yet, but its coming along nicely. /claim bitches.

The way i wrote everything is not in learning order! I can say that first i did 2s on. Then 2s on 2s of and then Kfed. Before all of this i learned to do Fs and Bs switchups, learning the scissoring and also corporated the lock on after youve done 270 on! But yea the way i wrote things are not in order, But on that day i did do all those tricks plenty of times..not on a dancefloor box !

meh possible. it just seems pretty ridiculous for your second day park skiing ever to learn that onto a reasonable box. like too ridiculous...

Ok i have a question i have 270 on to boxes and im trying to to take it to rail and i land fine on the rail but i keep spinning how do I fox this?
