i like your first photo.

not really into the second and third on.

and the colours are really bright and the lighting jsut doesn't suit some of them.

flowers are too easy to photograph, they look pretty no matter what, theyre easy to find, and they dont move.

 
True...Now I'm not hating when I say this, but next time do try to do something maybe a little different, just to put it over the top of what everybody else is doing. Those kinda look like pictures from a Christmas catalogue. Take away the blandness and they'll be golden!

I guess it's cool if your trying for flowery fruitiness. But I'd dig some real photos of skiing...
 
i like the rose, its got a lot of definition. maybe try taking pics of stuff other than flowers?
 
Take pictures of something else besides flowers, its soooo easy to take good flower pictures.

Gettin on the streets or or the hill is where you can get respect.
 
pretty flowers... but i think the title you chose for the thread was a bit misleading, considering the usage of "photography" instead of "photos"...pics or even pix may have suited the artwork more appropriatly. Also you capitalized  the M which made it look more legit as well as ending the phrase with a period wich ads a definitive, professional tone. possibly "some cute flower pix i took yesterday :0)" may have been more appropriate?
 
to be honest, i think that no one can top marys floral photography steeze... but these are.. its just me talking tho kinda un interesteing, theres nothign good about the pic any one can take a pic of a flower, but if you make every phot unique thats a talent... try taking a different aspect on things.. and it looks like you dont have the proper lense for macro, everything is zoomed way to far out. you might want to get like a cheep 70-300mm macro lens it should be pretty good for that, but if you want better close ups you have to dish out the money for it... and i have to ask this just out of curiousity... what kind of camera are you useing? cause if its a point and shoot i may have to say if you want to acctually get into photography SLR's are the way to go, either digital or 35mm... digital cost's more, but its worth it rather than spending like $15 on each roll of film or if ou wanna be cheep and get cheep 200 film its like $1 for a roll, its still going to cost you for developing it. but yah these are just my comments
 
they were all for a project(that is why they are all flowers) like when i was in 8th grade. i found the discs in my drawer yesterday. and was bored as hell so i put them all up. and i was using a fuijifilm digital camera 4.1 mega pixels. no great thing but its all i got. and btw i put periods on the end of everything. look at my profile. periods on everything!

i'll try playing with the contrast and stuff. see what you guys think with that. and i made a sweet project of the rose one. i'll take a pic of that.

well no your age doesn't have much to do with it i guess. but the first pic sorta looked like a cake for an instant, and then the second sorta killed it. try to get more focus, maybe different lighting, try for a lil more powerful

but thats just my take on it. good job overall.
 
i'm 15 but i took all thoose pics when i was like 13.

umm i was then but all that was for a project and it's just something i occasionally do. it's not like my goal in life to be a professional photographer. i just do it for fun.
 
I reallllly don't want to bum you out or lower your confidence or anything, but there's nothing there in that selection that I couldn't take an equally as good of a pic of. I'm not even taking photography because their are so many people these days who think they can just buy some expensive peice of equipment, pick it up, aim it at something, and consider themselves photographers. I guess you still have lots of time to work on your shots and progress with your skills. I'm hoping this is just a for fun kind of thing? personal satisfaction and what not?

The reason I'm saying this is because I want to motivate you to get out there and improve on your skill and become 50 times better and come back with something that can really "wow" the pants off us! prove us all wrong, and that your really good.
