My opinion on spin to win and ian cosco

i've said it....what...4 times now? im NOT FUCKING HATING ON IAN COSCO.

i wanted to give my two cents about the whole spin to win debate. i said "statement" in my original post, and have since realized that i was wrong to phrase it that way (or even say that in the first place).

cosco, hopefully you'll read this, realize that i'm definitely not hating on anyone, and laugh at everyone some more.

 
if you knew cosco you'd know he doesn't take any fuckin easy routes, this kid can spin to win if he wants to, i skied with him in the summer and off a jump half the size he was doing cab unnaty corks, adding 180 each run, i saw him go up to 9 landing first time. i don't wanna speak for him, but seriously, he puts in his hours, there is nothing fucking easy about going into the biggest big air comp for our sport, and throwing away his chances in order to make a statement. in the process hes probably denied himself another invitation to the event and now its wasted on people like you.

more tech inverts would deff be sick. i would be pumped for that. sw double fronts would be sick. in my opinion any flip is more styley than a spin. i would rather see a steezy lincoln loop than a steezy 1080

ENOUGH. no more speculation. if he knew he couldnt win, and was just enjoying himself, thats fine. isnt what this skiing shit was about in the first place, fun over winning? FUCKING CHRIST. enough of this blatant hate, and enjoy doing what you love, skiing. JUST LIKE COSCO.
 
Completely agree. As for the trailer trash comment, I apologize, I typed before really thinking, but people who swear far in excess of what is necessary piss me off a lot.
 
i really need to look at dates next time, i was so confused about 1 why he wasn't referred to as chug, and 2 what everyone was referencing. but yes, i'm glad this was dug up because the op makes a very valid point.
