My opinion of justin beiber

Alex Jones sounds a bit paranoid... possibly clinically insane too. But hes got a decent message, hes just expressing it in a psychotic way.

as for the bieber debate... who gives a shit? if he emerges from the closet a few years from now as a "thug"... well that will be interesting to see I guess. But it will never be possible to take him seriously...

I don't really care for his music but, I got to give it to the kid. He can sing pretty well. Better than most of the people in the pop scene right now.

If this thread started because he was performing in the VS fashion show then... I'd say that this was the order of performances.

I don't hate justin bieber and twilight because its the popular thing to hate.

I dislike twilight because the movies are terribly made (I beared through the first movie and thought it was just so stupid, horrible acting and affects, they weren't even running their feet and arms were just making a running motion with a blur after them), bella is played out to be this "distressed, sad soul", she's just a self-absorbed teenager who thinks she's better than everyone else. And I love Robert Pattinson's acting skills i think he's very talented, but this movie just weakens them and doesn't show his true potential. Kristen Stewart I think is alright but she's so awkward and always seems mad.

I think that justin bieber is a talented musician, but like many other musicians he doesn't make his own music and relied on people like Usher who was already famous to get him to where he is now. He is merely a puppet of the people who made him.
 
i highly, HIGHLY doubt that he's a closet thug. Blaring rap in your house doesn't make you a thug, especially not when you're biggest song is called "baby"

Yes they broke up, but he dated her and probably banged her infinitely more times than you ever will. I'm not "riding his dick" I just think people hate him mainly out of jealousy or because they think it's funny/cool. Also saying that he sucks dick or is gay is just dumb, he's clearly straight, again Selena fucking Gomez. And yeah have you ever heard him sing? I'd say he's more talented that 85% of big popstars out there

Do I like his music? No. Do I think he's talented and has worked for what he's got? Yes. Would I switch lifes with him? Yes, and you would too.
 
Here is why I hate him:

First, even if he is musically talented and a "thug" when out of the public view. He's a fucking sell out. If you're doing something for profit that you don't agree with then YOU ARE A FUCKING SELLOUT. But there will always be assholes like that.

The reason I hate him is because he's fucking over the music business. He's using music that's written with close to six producers and not his own. He's also lowering the over all standard of music and fueling a generation of cock hungry 12 year olds who think that there 8th grade "love" problems are the center of the fucking world.

He's deluding people into putting themselves first and to say fuck the other 9 billion people on this planet.

I would also say he's screwing over people with actual musical intellect out of careers they deserve by appealing to people through how he looks and "feels". More so than through his music, its like an accessory to his wardrobe.

If you have that much power at least use it for good. Fucking turd.
 
I hate to defend Justin Bieber, but if these so called "people with actual musical intellect" really deserved to have a big career, they would have made it already. It takes more than just a decently good voice and "deep" lyrics to make it in the music industry these days, and that's just how it is. It doesn't matter if the majority of people who enjoy other genres of music don't like Justin Bieber. What does matter is the millions of people who DO like his music, whether you believe they're brainwashed or not. At the end of the day, he's famous and the other guys aren't.
 
I think he looks like Cindy-Loo Hoo from the Grinch (the jim carrey one). Other than that. A lot of girls look like him too....I don't have a problem with him. My mother in-law says my husband looks like him (wut?).

I'm having a hard time understanding your quotes, but heres what i'm trying to say: He's monopolizing the industry, essentially, lessening the people with deep understanding of music theory jobs they deserve. You can sell shit that sounds good and have no musical talent, and he's using producers behind the scenes to do this. They know what appeals to the ear and so they tell him what to do.

I can play literally anything in C major and make it sound decent. But not everyone can write a riff in C major and D dorian in 5/8.

does that make more sense?
 
Hey, first of all chill out, its the internet, second of all thats not what I said, I was using C major as (a poor example I suppose) of how you dont have to be a fucking genius to make it in the music industry, do to the fact that Major labels have close to a monopoly on what gets big. Right now, this pop music crap is in and so other groups which may do other stuff are not going to get popular because the labels that have the monopolize are not looking for it.

I don't expect a fifteen year old to know what D dorian in 5/8 is, but, maybe if these labels looked at other music with people who are not willing to play the game and picked them up, more kids might take an interest and learn. I feel that these kids are getting fed music from biased views and that they are not getting the exposure they deserve to these different genres.

Chill out, these are my views, don't take it to heart buddy.

PS- I like the one direction too only heard a couple of their songs but they are catchy.

As I said when crap like drake and adele is huge I won't hate on a boyband if they are decent musically.
 
Adele is famous because she is talented. Plus at least Drake writes his own shit (be it annoying or not). Adele writes her own songs and yeah, she's super talented. Go watch a whole show of hers live on youtube or something. You might not enjoy the style, but you have to respect her talent and passion for writing and singing.

One Direction are just autotuned handsome robots for 12 year old girls. No talent beyond looking good and smiling.
