Fri. May 30th- The winner has been chosen...
Just so all of you know, that was about 100 times harder then I anticipated. All of you that sent in pics killed it, Big time...
I ended up judging on uniqueness, creativity, style, artistic eye, and overall impression.. I had to call in some additional help from Mr. Pep Fujas, who was also very impressed with all of your photos.
I ended up rewarding 3 places, versus just the 1st place pair of skis, due to so many pics. The second and third places will be getting some swag from either Dragon, Sessions, or DaKine, and quite possibly all of the above.

For those of you that didn’t enter, you have until midnight tonight.. To the rest of you that sent in pics. Thanks a lot. I was stoked to see all the rising talent out there.

Glad everyone is stoked.. As I said it was super tough, and that first picture was very unique and something I have never seen before..

Regardless, thanks again for the entries.. Everyone killed it.

freezed i thought that photo was of the yetis for a long time. and was my background for a good while as well. bad ass photo mang. you can be the people's champ.
 
no it does, it is imposible to find the skier. It does not really tell you anything about the skiing either. you can't really see how big he is going or anything. They say a picture is worth 1000 words, that one is worth 15.
 
im not going to go as far as saying it sucks, but i deff think 3rd is better then 2nd. 2nd one seems a little weird (like blurred or not focused or somethin) but that may just be the size it was at on my comp wen i looked at it(mighta been expanded or somthin). im sure if it looked more real? on my comp itd look sick
 
first place picture is amazing, i love everything about it and the other 2 are sick too - props to those guys
 
the first one is so sick

but i think the 2nd and 3rd place ones should be switched around

the 3rd place one has been my desktop picture for a while now

I personally dislike the first place. I mean, it's cool and all, but by look sof it he's doing the lamest little jib ever.

First and third are doperific as far as picture goes.

the second one is pretty cool as far as action and scenery but it just dosnt look right. I dotn know that much about photography but lighting pretty much suck on this one. some remote flash could have made this one look sooooooooooooooo much better. still a cool pic but just not as good as the other 2 as far as photgraphy goes.
 
Ya the porch on the far right of the house seems cut off, almost as if it got painted or pasted over on PS
not sayin that its not a great pic, but it just looks a tad bit strange
anyone with me on this one?
 
personally the 2nd one is my fav because the skis jump out at you and its contrasting all of the vertical lines in the photo it has a very unique effect. the first one doesnt really make sense to me. its cool the colors are sick but why is he transparent? did he actually slide that rail? he looks like a giant. 2nd is my fav because the photo makes sense and the skiing makes sense. the first photo confuses me and maybe that was the effect he wanted but i want to see a ski photo and be stoked on the skiing and not confused as to whats going on.
 
1st place: good idea....not very good photography

2nd place: cool trick but its too hard to pick out the skier

3rd place:......killin it! should have won
