My Next Skis

I’m coming from riding Surface Snipers for a few seasons, and looking at getting a new pair of skis (90% park 10 % all mtn) I liked the really low swing weight of the Snipers, but once they broke in they were really soft. Thinking about 4FRNT Switch skis, thoughts?

Where do you ride, what level stiffness do you want, what underfoot range, what’s your budget

Mainly 7 springs, 90-100mm underfoot, like 6.5-8 tail stiffness, budget around &600

Was on 4frnt switch laat season and i really enjoyed it. Pretty poppy and could handle landings and take offs switch. Disappointed with the edge durability. I got tons of edge cracks and they arent the most butterable skis ive rode. Light swing weight and super fun to rip around all mountain. Im also 210lbs so im not sure if thay could have affected the edge durability. Hope this helps, i really liked them alot but after 1 season they are shot, im going with on3ps next year, good luck!

Thanks for the review, did you hit rails on them often?

Yeah it was really my first year hitting rails so i worked on it alot with them, i got smooth and 270s out. Im not great on rails by any means but i can slide them clean and do some tricks. So yes i was hitting rails alot on them pretty much learning all year

Did you detune them or round the edges underfoot before hitting rails at all? I have been on my switches for 2 seasons and hit rails all the time and haven't had problems!

Liberty Helix 88 or 98 will have similar weight, lots of pop and will be stiffer than your surfaces

I can back this Liberty’s are stiff and super poppy but they also have a great swing weight

Faty-pus L-toro, lowest swing weight since the armada halo. Theyve had their durability down to a science for years, Its worth the money
