My new subs

i get what ur saying but im somewhat of an audiophile- never get sick of good sound- - they werent that bad- the sub and amp origionally would have been 1100 but i am a member of a wwebsite through best buy and i got them for 230 for the sub and 270 for the amp

subs dont enhance sound, in fact they cover the whole fucking song and you cant hear it...

buying really good speaker, now thats what an audiophile should do

theres nothing like a good sound system... not too much bass, not too much treble, and really clear sound. i love it so much haha. my brother put subs in a wrangler along with some new speakers (cant get seperate tweaters and mid-range speakers but oh well, its a jeep haha) and it sounds pretty sweet for a jeep. its my car now and i bought the stuff from him for cheap (i think it was for 100 or 150 that i got 2 10 inch subs, the speakers, a speaker amp, a sub amp, and a new radio).

Not necesarily.

15" subs tend to kill out a lot of the low frequencies, although a good 8/10/12" sub properly set up with a set of good speakers, in a well sound insulated car is the best.

by really good speaker system do you mean infiniti gold kappas the whole way around hooked up to a 4 channel amp pushing 300 watts per channel- a 2 ferad capicator- kenetic deep cycle battery with gold pated terminals- nope never heard of it

i work for magnolia home theater - its a sub division of best buy in certain stores that only deals with high end audio and video- and like a true audiophile i have a Vienna Acoustics system for my parents theatre(i am still in high school-not my money) that without my discount would be 7300 dollars alone. I aalso have monster m cabling for the whole system- basically when shit blows up in a movie the whole bottom floor shakes.

and for not being able to hear that is if u have a shitty sub that is underpowered- and not everybody listens to their music with the b ass pumped all the time- its supposed to accent the system- not make ur car vibrate

Stopped reading right there. Any self proclaimed audiophile knows that Monster cabling is one of the biggest scams ever.

Just subs, with the stock speakers of a car usually makes everything sound like shit. You have to upgrade everything, subs, 6 by 9's, tweeters or whatever, and something to make sure that the levels are right. I hate it when the subs in the back just vibrate the fuck out of everything and you cant hear the song.

Haha hate to hate on you, but no your not. No self respecting Audiophile would even start with a car system, the acoustics are terrible, and an audiophile would never get huge subs like that, they drown out sound.

If you were somewhat of an audiophile, you would put the sub drivers in a folded horn system as well, and not need nearly that much power. And you are going to kill your hearing, the most important thing in being an audiophile.

Your not an audiophile, your a car audio enthusiast.

Not hating, its a nice setup, just saying

back in HS i made a similar move, because my car was already wired up for it. Looking back it was a waste of money, but at the time it was fun to bump it hard. SO just keep it thumpin' and smile while you annoy other drivers.

haha this reminds me, one of my buds spent something like $200 on Bose headphones, and i let him try out my $60 Sony's, and he flipped shit because mine were better.

haha thats funny. some chick i know got skullcandy lowriders and was soo proud of them. i had my $30 jvc's and i was like yeah, skullcandys just all hype their really not that good.

and shes like are you kidding?! their amazing!

so i let her try my headphones and she got all sad.

but i, too hate people who bump their shit too loud. my friends got 2 diamond d3s (idk what amp) and you literally cant hear a single word of the song. and its soo loud it literally shakes my head.

and another kid also has 2 diamond d3's, but hes got 2 amps, and ones a 4 channel for his speakers and he has wayyyy too much treble, it would sound real good with the treble turned down just a little though.

im thinking of getting just 1 sub and a small amp, and maybe new speakers all around because my system now sounds like shit.

do u even know the specs on it- it has the highest data transfer rate out of any cable under $1000- its 14.9 gbs- this isnt some run of the mill monster bullshit- i know the kind ur talking about- it retails for about 100 for an 8 footer- the m cabling is 245(thank god for work discount)

and for the bose asshole up their earlier- nice try but no- i dont own bose headphones- i own a pair of shure se350s- u should look them up-

and for the ther guy that said i am just a car audio guy- did u even read the rest of the post- i own a complete 7.1 surrond system with Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grands- each one is handbuilt by an Austrian Electronics Engineer- To that i run it all through a Denon Avr2808- which is hooked up to a Sony VPL-V60 projector with an anamorphic lense- which then plays the video in 2:35 format on my 120inch Screen Research Screen-

sorry guys its just i hate it when people hate on you because your excited about something
