So I finally finished up my photography site, and got some stuff online.

I'm having some alignment issues if you're using safari, but I'm glad I atleat got something up. I'ts been like 80% done for almot a month now.

I will be updating it within in the next couple weeks, with more portfolio work, and another page for portraits.

Anyway, critiques welcome, suggestions, comments. Etc. Holla.

That's a good start man. I'm concerned something might be getting messed up in the coding though, it looks way different in firefox then it does in explorer. In FF, the galleries are showing up below, like I have to scroll down to see them. I'm using FF 2.0

If you don't like the banana gallery, check out some of the photoshop galleries, they have two flash types - they're pretty easy to implement. You might already be above this, but I took the dreamweaver class at school, it was pretty helpful, but more of the mechanics of the site, like hosting.

check out my site -http://www.damoncallphotography.com/ it needs a major overhaul(apparently not everyone has the same fonts..), fall quarter has been kicking my ass way too much to be tinkering with it. I'm using the schools server (myweb) to host, then I bought the domain, so 9 bucks for 2 years.

I'm not too far. I actually was about one signature away from doing just regular commercial photography at seattle cetnral, but I decided to stay up here and continue with PJ instead due to a dwindling job market.
I haven't been to any NPPA meetings, but I'm member of my local chapter, and I hope to start taking a more active approach to the Journalism side of things as stuff starts to unfold.

Nice man. We should be having meetings once a month, once the pres. gets his shit in order. Lots of good contacts there - a bunch of people that have interned for the Herald, Skagit, and the Times. It definately helps knowing someone in that business.

Anyway, I'll let you know when the next meeting is, unless you get the department emails.
