My new quiver is coming...

What bindings are those on the Fischer's to the far left? If that is a super light AT setup on waxless XC skis I'll shit, because i've been thinking about doing the same thing...
 
^Are those the Fischer snowbounds and is that you're setup? Because if so I was thinking about doing that EXACT same thing with the 189s down to the same binding. Damn, and I thought that was an original idea.
 
the bindings sick though. i mounted a pair last week with some millet everest mountaineering boots for a guy that is going to tour across antarctica.

my quiver:

icey conditions/teaching -172 madtrix(with really sharp edges)

park/urban/soft snow- 179 fujative (no edge left)

junk skis/urban/rock skis- 169 public enemy (also no edge)
 
my quiver is great.

pair of crichtons with gashed in sidewalls all teh way to the core. and 1 chronic wide, hahaha
 
mine sucks for now

-1 pair of carvers...line darksides, future urban skis

-1 pair of chronic wides for park and all mountain

-soon to have my own built powder ski
 
My quiver is one pair of skis. and they are the shit, i'm riding the ninthward 187 and they are great all around. fatty ski dimensions 129-109-129 that perfom well everyhwere. they are even fun in the park. gotta have a burly binding tho. the construction on the 187 is bomber.. the core is really lively and the sidewalls are burly as hell. nice a thick and way over the thick ass edges. also the edges are continuous, no gaps in the edge around the tips or tail. these things are sweeet. i ride them a cm back from center and i love them. super fun in all conditions, especially slush.

this ski has won me over as my all condition wonder

you cant hate on ninthward, their skis construction is bombproof.
 
maybe thats his "park" quiver? a ski for pipe a ski for rails a ski for jumps.. i have no idea i dont ski park but hey to each his own

must be nice having more than one pair of skis. Do you guys have multiple pairs of boots too? what about different poles for different conditions?
 
yo you guys bash the poor guy for not having pow skis, but most of the pics posted of these huge quivers have no park skis... His is just as much a quiver as yours he just likes skiin park instead, or maybe doesn't get to ski as much pow. I've been on the east coast all my life, but next year I'm livin in CO for a month just to ski so I'm gonna be rockin somethin along the lines of some Bacons perhaps and a center mounted park ski. The only other ski I'd add if I had the dough would be some kinda AT set up.
 
I guess that depends on your definition of a park ski, personally I think nomensteven has a pretty dope example of a quiver.. with the exception I guess of one super fat pair.
 
a real quiver should be this:

2 park skis:

1. 80-90mm

2. 90-95 mm with both center mounted

1 all mountain ski: 87-95 mm waist

2 fat skis:

1 110-120 mm underfoot

2.130-150 mm underfoot
 
nah. a perfect quiver can not be written out. each person has their own special needs and wants.

and why in the world would you need two park skis and two pow skis? if you wanted a "perfect" quiver you wouldnt have two of the same skis.

and to the kid saying we have no park skis, I am prety sure both Luke and I have park skis (179 SP or 185 Karma).
