Go back and read that. He only posted the instrumentals. How can people decide what they like more if they only hear the instrumentals. Anyway I fucking love these beats I think only a really talented hip hop artist could rap over it and have me like it. That is how good i think these beats are.

You're both right, I think you just misread his second comment.

Nobody is recording on my songs unless they are gonna add something to it. I posted these up because in my opinion instrumentals are good on their own, I also like hearing rappers on them too, usually I'll listen to both.

I like what Nacho Picasso and BSBD did with 'For the Glory'. If you haven't heard that album I highly suggest you check it out, it's one of the best hip hop albums I've heard to date. When they released it, it was free and it was 28 tracks - it had 14 songs and then the 14 instrumentals. Unfortunately they're selling it now and took the instrumentals off. But here's the link anyways:

i like the sampling you did in Red Oak.... i'm a huge fan of short voice samples in otherwise lyricless music like yours. i think it'd also be cool if you worked in other types of instruments like guitar chords

google emancipator if you don't already know of him. i think you and him have very similar styles although yours is more minimalistic (because yours are meant to be rapped over).

really digging Nishiki and Red Oak, gotta listen to others though
 
listening to your other stuff right now like Remember to Breathe....

digging the old radio sample at the beginning but not a huge fan of the vocal splicing that follows it. and kind of an overarching theme in your music - the bass is too loud.

not that i dont love bass, but my sub is nearly halfway turned up and i can't play the music loud without the sub being out of control. i wanna fucking BLAST this shit dude without the bass being too much for my sub to handle.
 
I honestly didn't like any of your previous stuff but I reallllllly like this one. Getting a dope 'architectural' and design feel to it. Keep it up!
 
I just ran across the original song for your voicing track for red oak and it made me want to bump this for sick music. Keep putting out the good stuff!
 
Best music composition I've ever heard on NS by far. Sounds so professional, and so clean. You do great work my friend, keep it up and make it interesting. Switch up the tempo if you wanna catch the attention of more people, but what you're busting out now is so tight.

I've been working a lot on my technique and style and I guess I feel that 'Kazabazua' suits my new music better. I'll always be Pinto Gold deep down inside though.
 
Kazabazua is the name of a town north of Ottawa that's full of fucked up people. seriously messed in the head people. I'm guessing it has something to do with that?
